What’s up Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are enjoying the summer season with your family and friends and for those who play splinterlands daily, I hope you are enjoying the gameplay and for those who lack a big SPS stake or a full card collection, don’t forget to rent cards and SPS to boost your performance and earnings and I am also doing the same. The current ranked season just started a couple of days ago and we still have around 12 days in hand before this ongoing season ends, but I have been playing with full force since the beginning of this season and have been also using all my Glint tokens rewards from the last season to buy more energies so that I can play even more. Till now, I have played a total of 112 ranked matches and won 60 of them, so it seems I am able to keep a good win rate (if you consider 50%+ a good win rate of course) till now. I am also currently renting 332k SPS from the in-game SPS delegation market and adding them with my own SPS stake, right now it is earning me around 20 - 25 SPS for every win which is just fantastic. While playing today, I reached the Diamond I tier and finished playing for the day after I reached a 3,440 trophy rating. Hope this time I reach the Champion League early and maybe earn more SPS but let’s see how that goes and meanwhile, let me just keep playing.

Now moving forward, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, we will be talking about the Rebellion edition's upcoming Airdrop card Lorkus, so without any further ado, let us jump right in!

REBELLION CONFLICT

With the introduction of Rebellion cards into the game, the splinterlands team has also introduced a brand new airdrop system called Conflict. Previously, only investors who used to buy packs from the official market used to get shares from the airdrop reward pool. With this old airdrop system, there was a big problem as no reward for pack or card holders which often resulted in pack dumping in the secondary market and this caused the pack and card prices to crash. So the official team has come up with this brand new approach from the Rebellion series onwards, instead of only pack buyers, pack and card holders will get rewarded with airdrop cards.

NEW AIRDROP UPDATE

I really liked this new update and in fact, this update has encouraged me to buy more rebellion cards since the launch of this edition. I have bought most of the Rebellion cards at max level and staked them all in my wagons and thankfully, I have started earning legendary airdrop cards too as you can see from the screenshot above, The first airdrop card was Rage and I got 2 BCX copies of that card, followed by Kei in which I got 4 cards, got 6 cards from the next airdrop Venka the Vile and now waiting for the 4th airdrop to go live and hope I get at least 4 cards this time.

UPCOMING CARD

Anyway, for the upcoming card Lorkus, one will get 1 guaranteed card from the airdrop for every 300 chances and as you can from the above image, so far I have collected 323 chances. With another 19 days left in hand, I will earn more chances and hope this time I get at least 4 cards from the airdrop. I am earning 129,926 contribution points per hour and for every 100k contribution points we get 1 chance. So the more cards or packs you stake in your wagons, the more chances you earn over time and thus more cards. Moving on, let us now look into the upcoming Rebellion airdrop card Lorkus to find out what is so special about it, so without making any delay. Let us take a quick peek at it.

LORKUS

Lorkus will be the fourth Rebellion airdrop card (excluding pre-sale airdrop cards) that will be distributed after 19 days. This is a summoner type card that is a dual element card, which means you can use this summoner for both Death and Fire elements. It is a legendary type card that will need a total of 11 BCX to upgrade this card to the max level. This summoner will cost 7 mana to be used in battles and no doubt it will become the highest mana cost summoner in the game. Now, let us take a further look at its buffs below to find out why this monster costs a whooping 7 mana.

STATS

As you can see from its stats image above, this may be called a new generation hybrid summoner with so many buffs and debuffs. First of all, this summoner will give all friendly melee attack monsters with +1 melee attack and also give all friendly magic monsters with +1 magic attack. Now apart from this basic set of buffs, there are also 2 more sets of buffs from which the player can choose any one to apply in a particular match. The first set comes with Life Leech and Affliction which the player can give to two units and the second set comes with Trample and Fury which the player can do the same. Now without a doubt having so many buffs, this summoner will be very powerful and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the next Zaku or Kitty summoner, both of which are still overpowered and costly in this game.

I hope you liked reading my post about Lorkus and are all excited about this upcoming summoner. Let me know your thoughts and expectations from this summoner in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.

Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
