Wrestling is about to go down in France this Saturday, and I'm stoked. It's the PPV Backlash, but it's not getting as much hype as it should, because there's so many other things happening like this lawsuit against Vince McMahon and his cronies; but forget that let’s talk about the good stuff:
Cody Rhodes vs AJ Styles for the WWE Undisputed Championship.
These guys have similar stories, AJ Styles had a grueling journey before finally making it to WWE.
He wrestled in TNA, Ring of Honor, AAA, New Japan Pro Wrestling becoming a huge name even before coming into WWE. Whereas Cody Rhodes began his career at WWE but he needed to leave in order establish himself elsewhere.
Both of them had their moments when they first appeared on WWE television screens but they never crossed paths until now!
I’m so hyped because these two are the top-tier wrestlers. They’ve got the skills, the charisma and fans adore them for that. But here’s my problem with WWE; they aren’t giving this match enough attention. They should be selling it as a clash of titans who battled their way to the summit. It’s a dream come true for wrestling lovers but also feels rushed by WWE.
Yes, there is so much going on both inside and outside WWE but still! This is a huge deal, Cody Rhodes taking on AJ Styles, two of the very best in professional wrestling today finally locking horns.
That alone should tell you everything you need to know about how massive this is! However, what needs to happen now is for WWE to take their foot off the gas pedal or pump brakes altogether and shine light upon it like never before.
I cannot wait to see these guys fight each other tooth-and-nail until neither has anything left in them.😁
It’ll be an absolute barn burner without any shadow of doubt but please do not sleep on this match WWE! Give it all that you’ve got because somewhere out there right now some fan somewhere has made up his mind about whether or not he’s going watch Backlash based solely off if you deliver here tonight.
