SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! FLYING SQUID
I'm back with another Battle Challenge and this week's card for the challenge is Flying Squid. I'll briefly discuss the card's abilities, stats, and value, and then move on to the battle and my line-up and strategy for it
Flying Squid is a melee monster in Water Splinter. Contrary to its name, it does not have flying. However, it has reach with some solid stats - even at level 1 you get a powerful combination of 8 health and 3 speed with 2 melee damage. It gets a very nice upgrade up to level 3 (the level we'll be playing today), when it gets a third point of melee damage - this squid hits hard!
The end of the season was earlier today so that means our fight today comes from the first day of the season, which is always a bit hairy - fights to get out of the Bronze League are tough, especially early in the season! The battle I'm sharing today was actually one where I slightly misjudged my opponent's strategy and had to hope for the best.
This is a card that increases your combat stats very modestly. In total it gains one point of attack from level 1 to 10 and increases its speed and life by two points. The most noticeable improvement is in his skills. In addition to base reach, he gains blind at level 6 and backfire at level 10. These are two skills that are rarely used in the lower leagues and you will only see them in the top leagues where the best players in the Splinterlands universe live.
As I said before, this is a must have card in your water deck if you want to have options and a competitive deck. Flying squid costs only $0.08 at level 1. In my case, the gold version at level 3 costs just over a dollar: 1.02. At the time of writing this article, the rental cost is 0.61 dec/day. Very affordable price for an aggressive card with a lot of power.
When the version first came out and still had the old reward system the one I used the most was water, and even though it was more on the magic side, I slowly discovered the true potential of melee and ranged cards and one card that was the brightest in that sense was the Flying Squid. , a secondary tank that can be used without problems due to its reach ability, is a card that I think is brilliant and in this publication I will try to explain why, so welcome
Ideal because of its first ability is to use this card in the second position of your line-up, behind your tank as a support for it and deal a lot of damage with reach. If you play gold rank or higher you will love this card in melee combat because the combination of Kelia's speed and her blind ability with the armor buff is spectacular, it is important to focus on increasing your speed to make this card shine in combat, so I think with this card A nice tank to use
Also I want to talk to you about another autohealing card. This link card can hold fire attacking up to three times because there are a lot of cards that get destroyed after attacking once or twice but this one has the ability to resist up to three attacks which I really like.
And so that you can enjoy this bat of mine, I am presenting the link of the battle here
