First Season Review Of The Wild Pass

In this episode, I review how the first season with the Wild Permit went. There were 3,669 players in Wild and my hope is that we see that continue to grow but I'm very curious to see what the sentiment is like for the 2nd season which began earlier today.

Overall it wasn't completely bad for me. I think the increased SPS rewards means I can afford to buy another pass..

Unfortunately for modern players, wild will not be so lucrative.

My alt accounts are earning about double the cost of the wild season pass. So it is nice to see the SPS earnings up, but with my staked SPS staying the same, it appears that my end-of-season earnings decreased compared to past seasons.

I'm going to give it another go by increasing my staked SPS delegations to hopefully earn more SPS rewards to offset the cost of wild season pass. However these two alt accounts only have CL GF silver and CL RF gold league cards on them respectively. They were never equipped to be playing at max leagues like diamond or champion, but that's where they are in wild format currently. With the current state of modern, it just doesn't make sense to manually play in that format without a maxed level deck, so I'm resigned to having these two alt accounts botted in wild.
