By the way, when did they change "Daily Quests" names to "Daily Focus?"

I forgot the exact date, but I think it's just two to three seasons ago.

The number of both my daily focus and end-of-season chests has been reduced. I also noticed a big reduction in the Bronze I DF rewards, almost 50%. Not sure if it's just temporary or due to the random character of the rewards. Daily Focus too changed. There are times that the focused splinters that you selected will not be available and so you will be forced to use other splinters. The problem here is that you don't have the cards to win the battle in other Splinters not unless you spread out your rents not only to your daily focus but also to other splinters.

Ah, I understand, especially the split rent part... I never thought of renting only what I need for 1 day each before...

In my case, I still prefer that the player has the freedom to choose the number of days he or she wants to rent the cards.

I guess that the reason for the adjustment is that the dev team saw again another imbalance resulting from players' response to the previous changes.

Yeah, even I myself. I have been playing every day and yet have difficulty adjusting. I was just assimilating the previous change and here comes another change.

hopefully, it becomes stable soon... I'm still waiting for the Lands expansion pack release date announcement because that will be a big change.
