Have the chaos legion cards decreased the value of old splinterlands cards?

Greetings friends!

Before I opened the chaos legion pre sale packs, the value of my old cards, which include alpha, beta, dice etc. editions, was over 25k USD. Now, it is around 20k after opening of chaos legion edition cards. So, it may be deduced that new cards have decreased the value of older cards. What do you think?
