Unfortunately my computer had some major issues yesterday, so I couldn't post. So I continue today, with:

The Epics - Part II

Djinn Renova

The second epic card is Djinn Renova for the life Splinter. Starting at 2 magic damage, 2 speed and 6 HP, with Strengthen it is quite a good addition to the life team for its 7 mana cost. Getting another Speed at level 2, one more magic attack at level 3 and 6 and Triage at level 4, it can also fill a pretty good niche. Herbalist and Chanseus the Great are two Untamed alternative, both Herbalist and Djinn Renova getting their ability at Gold level, but you would need 220 copies of the Herbalist for each around $1,2 adding up to around $265 compared to only around $70 for the Djinn Renova level 4 (at the current market price of $3,5). A level 1 Chanseus would start at $283, peanuts for a legendary Summoner, but expensive to a Djinn Renova, which even at $4 would cost only $184 to max out. So yes, it is not too expensive. The biggest competition for Triage would be the Beta Mermaid Healer, which starts at around $40 per BCX, having Triage at level 1 available and getting Strengthen at level 4 (so the opposite of Djinn Renova). It also gets Cleanse at level 6, which is a benefit to Djinn Renova, but it lacks the attack; the Healer gets one magic attack at level 3 and no more thereafter. It also has only 3 speed from level 2 and 4 HP most of the time, going up to 5 at level 5. So all in all it is comparable, which could show the way the price of Djinn Renova might move to. But the Mermaid Healer is also a 3 Mana card, so it fits in a lot more settings as the Djinn Renova.

Uraeus

Again a neutral, that has not really been loved so far. Uraeus is a 3 mana monster, having 1 Melee Attack, 2 Speed, 1 Shield and 2 HP, with Sneak at level 1. It gets another melee attack at level 2 and 6, another speed at 3 and 5, and 1 more HP at 3 and 5 as well, plus poison at level 4. While the Horny Toad, a common Untamed card, does have poison as well, being the only other neutral card, there are a bunch of others having poison. Uraeus starts to get it at Gold level.
The Haunted Spider (Alpha/Beta common) gets it before at level 4, so it is a Silver monster. The same goes with the Venari Bonesmith. With Serpent of the Flame (Alpha/Beta) and Royal Dragon Archer (Promo), there are two other epics with poison, both of them getting it at level 3, and therefore also being Silver poison cards. The Vigilator is the only legendary poison card, and starts at level 3, also being only available from Gold. Still there earlier options for poison, but only the Bonesmith will be available for modern format. In Gold league there are also the commons Goblin Chef (Promo, common, level 8), the Skeleton Assassin (Alpha/Beta, common, level 6) and Beretrol Gobson (Gladius, common level 6), as well as the rares Sarius (Gladius, level 5), Mushroom Seer (Reward, level 5), Venari Bonesmith (Reward, level 5) and Silvershield Assassin (Reward, level 5). Only Serpentine Soldier (Untamed, common, level 10), Nectar Queen (Rewards, common, level 10), Witch of Warwick (Gladius, common, level 10), Giant Scorpion (Untamed, common, level 10), Naga Windmaster (Rewards, rare, level 8) and Serpent of Eld (Untamed, rare, level 8) get it at their respective max level. Since many of those won’t be possible to be played in modern format, it is not quite sure, how the price will evolve. Maybe Silvershield Assassin is a good starting point, since it also has Sneak and Poison, but gets an additional double strike. It has a similar development in melee attack, speed, shields and HP, but is a 7 mana life card, so a lot more restricted than Uraeus, but the double strike giving it a lot more damage potential. Therefore I don’t see Uraeus under $20 for quite some time, making more than a 3x unlikely in the near future.

Road to Gold - again?

Well I'm sitting in Silver 2 regarding Power and Gold 3 regarding rating. And I am not sure, if I can afford the jump to Silver 1 or Gold 3 right now, regarding rental DEC.
Unfortunately, as some of you may have noticed, I am recently pretty busy and neither have a lot of time playing nor writing. I still try to finish the series.
Real life is pretty busy as I'm in the middle of my bar exam (final law exams).
Since they last for some more weeks, I am not even sure, if I will be able to write a post every day.
Maybe I can still manage to climb enough to get the DEC together to rent some cards. Unfortunately not able to join in for delegations on stream with @foreveraverage or hope to win cards in other streams.

Special thanks

Thanks a lot @godislove777 for the delegation of this GF Beatrix Ironhand! Those CP help so much, especially right now as the end of season is getting closer! And I really love to play this card as well!
