Epilog
I am once again ajusting our member management contract here, so to speak, because neither has @pulubengdugs challenged @amfrak nor has @a3manolo noticed the top-up auction delay like mentioned in the Preface two days ago.
Especially now, when the tension for newcomers is really rising and freeloaders won't be able to stay long without understanding exactly what we are doing here, it hurts my soul to remove a decorated player from our guild just because he wasn't active for one day.
As much as I would like to see a DAO here via API to organize the members, it is not yet ready for a Smart Contract, if that pains my soul.
So what I would like to change is how and when the activity is assessed. My still current challenge is that the list of newest contributions is too short when there is a lot of activity. There is no way to tell if an account last actively contributed 12, 8 or 6 days ago if only the last 4 days of activity is visible. Especially at the beginning of a new season when quest scrolls are rolling in.
Now here's my idea to simplify this, and the test of time will show how good this idea is: if an account doesn't contribute to any of the buildings within the duration of a brawl, that account is noted as passive. So that's no longer 7 days, but only 5; or 6 in exceptions like this time, when the start of the brawl was delayed by a day. However, those who are noted to be passive will not be removed immediately, but only when another brawl has passed without being assessed active again.
So it lengthens the duration of possible passivity, but it shortens the time period when there may be no data to indicate activity.
I hope this works as intended. And as soon as someone has an even better idea or may even take over parts of the management, I'm happy to hear about it.

If you are new to this
Become familiar with the member management, please. Because the guild spots are precious, the last in our list will be removed regularly. That is part of our procedure as noted in the addendum mentioned below. And if you don't acknowledge all this within the first 2 hours after you joined, you may be removed without notice right away. How can we know? Well, you'll see! And any questions are welcome anytime!
Please understand, it is not on me to show comprehension. I'll do the best I can! Though this guild is somewhat managed like a DAO. That is Decentral Autonomous Organisation. So I simply follow the procedures that have evolved here by now. And for when you become passive and no one can reach out to you in time, ugly things can happen. As documented in past notes. If you want to join and stay, we can make that happen even with presently no open spot available. We may schedule it for that you can be there the moment our weakest contributor is removed. Sounds familiar somehow? Like with a mob abandoning their weakest offspring to survive a predator attack. Your contribution needs to be enough for not being the weakest. Everyone who got removed is welcome any time again. It's just that contributions from earlier are at zero any time an account re-joines.
What we expect from any enduring member, in a nutshell:
Priority A: Some contribution within the last 2 brawls. Without at least 1 DEC even a quest scroll will make this, if the Lodge is not maxed out for the rest of a season.
Priority B: Be not the weakest contributor in our mob the moment an auction ends. This moment is when a new brawl starts.
