Share your battle: Mycelic Slipspawn

The Mycelic Slipspawn is a magic tank that does what all tanks do best, taunt their enemies.

Part of Queen Mycelia's shroomin entourage, it gets some solid skill upgrades past its starting level 1 Taunt. At level 4 it picks up Forcefield (any hit > 5 becomes 1 damage) and then when it gets maxed ($$$$$) it gains the always-useful-except-in-Reverse-Speed Slow (opposing team gets -1 speed).

In Bronze and Silver where I sit and spin it's always a great option when you're greening out with the Earth Splinter if there's enough mana to support it (and sometimes help seal a win if you pack in a bunch of little guys that are still doing damage without getting Opportunitied or Sneaked into little pieces). Position-wise you can put it in front and pray that it'll survive to get value from units with Tank Heal or stick it in your back-line to keep the heat off your Full Frontal Units (use Triage or Repair if you have Armor if you need some sustain). Just make sure that if you're expecting a Yodin or Blast Ruleset to put it in between units that will spread the love more than you might want.

I'm usually too lazy, reckless, and dumb for Sustain builds (using Heal, Tank Heal, Triage, or Repair to keep your units around) so I tend to position Slipspawn to take the heat and die while the rest of my team does its dirty work, like in this Brawl:

It's great when Forcefield negates a huge 5+ hit from a Sand Worm or other bloodlustin monster but in this case Queen Mycelia's Protect and Slipspawn's naturally high health let Grund and the Carnage Titan pound away uninterrupted through their front line. Cornealus is also a solid Snipe absorber with its high health and self Heal and also always a great option in a Close Range battle.
