¡Saludos comunidad! Espero se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el desafío de esta semana, el cual consiste en usar una carta que desde mi perspectiva es un poco subestimada, su nombre es Mycelic Morphoid, es una carta común del splinter de tierra.
Greetings community! Today I want to share with you this week's challenge, which is to use a card that from my perspective is a bit underestimated, its name is Mycelic Morphoid, it is a common card of the land splinter.
Mycelic Morphoid es una carta interesante a pesar de que sus estadísticas no sean tan llamativas en sus diferentes niveles, su potencial radica en su coste de maná 1 y la habilidad espinas, la cual adquiere desde el nivel 3.
Mycelic Morphoid is an interesting card even though its stats are not so striking in its different levels, its potential lies in its 1 mana cost and the spines ability, which it acquires from level 3.
Si juegas en la liga de Plata, como es mi caso, usar esta carta en nivel 3 puede ser suficiente. Lo relevante es sacarle provecho a su habilidad de espinas.
If you play in the Silver league, as is my case, using this card at level 3 can be enough. The important thing is to take advantage of its thorns ability.
Su coste de maná 1 la hace una carta muy versátil de usar, y por sus características puede ocupar diferentes funciones, como por ejemplo:
- Proteger la penúltima carta de un ataque Sneak
- Evitar daño al tanque principal cuando es usada en la primera posición
- Ser la carnada para enemigos con la habilidad oportunista
- Puede ser un Pseudotanque en partidas de poco maná
Its mana cost 1 makes it a very versatile card to use, and due to its characteristics it can occupy different functions, for example:
- Protecting the penultimate card from a Sneak attack
- Avoid damage to the main tank when used in the first position
- Being the bait for enemies with opportunity ability
- It can be a Pseudotank in low mana games
Con base en lo anterior; les menciono algunos rulesets que permiten aprovechar el potencial de esta carta, como por ejemplo:

En la batalla que les mostraré, usé el Mycelic Morphoid como Pseudotanque, debido a que la cantidad de maná de la partida no era tan alta. Y aunque los rulesets de la batalla no están dentro de los mencionados anteriormente, se tuvo un buen desempeño. A continuación les menciono las condiciones de la partida:
In the battle I will show you, I used the Mycelic Morphoid as a Pseudotank, because the amount of mana in the game was not so high. And although the rulesets of the battle are not among those mentioned above, it was a good performance. Here are the conditions of the game:
- Mana limit: 27
- Rulesets: Aim true, Reverse speed
- Splinters available: Fire, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon

Como pueden observar en la imagen anterior, utilicé una composición con un buen daño mágico, además de que la considero una estrategía ofensivo-defensivo, te preguntarás, ¿Por qué?, pues te lo explico a continuación mediante la posición de cada carta.
As you can see in the previous image, I used a composition with a good magic damage, besides I consider it an offensive-defensive strategy, you may wonder why, I will explain it below by the position of each card.
Posición 1: Mycelic Slipspawn actúa como tanque, y con su habilidad “Taunt”, canaliza todas las líneas ofensivas del enemigo en ella, protegiendo nuestra segunda línea ofensiva
Posición 2: Mycelic Morphoid actúa como Pseudotanque, protegiendo a las cartas de las siguientes posiciones de un posible daño por blast, y también en el caso de que el tanque muera
Posición 3: Goblin Psychic actúa como curandero y también es parte de la ofensiva en nuestra segunda línea
Posición 4: Wood Nymph actúa como curandera y también es parte de la ofensiva en nuestra segunda línea
Posición 5: Goblin Sorcerer actúa como ofensiva, específicamente a la última posición de la segunda línea enemiga, gracias a su habilidad “Sneak”
Position 1: Mycelic Slipspawn acts as a tank, and with its "Taunt" ability, it channels all the enemy's offensive lines into it, protecting our second offensive line
Position 2: Mycelic Morphoid acts as a Pseudotank, protecting the cards of the following positions from possible blast damage, and also in case the tank dies
Position 3: Goblin Psychic acts as a healer and is also part of the offense in our second line
Position 4: Wood Nymph acts as a healer and is also part of the offense in our second line
Position 5: Goblin Sorcerer acts as an offensive, specifically to the last position of the enemy second line, thanks to his "Sneak" ability
Con base en lo anterior, les termino de explicar la estrategia. La considero ofensivo-defensivo porqué una vez canalizado todo el daño enemigo a nuestro tanque, y si este no es mayor a la curación que se aplica al tanque, no podrán matarlo. Además, nuestra segunda línea nunca recibirá daño, por lo que la partida será nuestra.
Based on the above, I finish explaining the strategy. I consider it offensive-defensive because once all the enemy damage is channeled to our tank, and if it is not greater than the healing applied to the tank, they will not be able to kill it. In addition, our second line will never take damage, so the game will be ours.

¡Saludos! Sí, a veces subestimamos este tipo de cartas pero lo cierto es que se pueden plantear estrategias interesantes con las condiciones apropiadas.
Te invito a usarla con los rulesets: "EQUALIZER", y "UP CLOSE & PERSONAL" o "SUPER SNEAK".
