Is it worth renting cards to get to Silver II?
If you own just enough power for the Silver III League, is it worth renting cards to progress to Silver II?
Let's take a quick look at the differences between the Silver III and Silver II League.

In order to get to Silver II from Silver III, you'll require an additional 25k power, or 2 gold legendary Chaos Legion cards. Gold legendary Chaos Legion cards costs around 20 DEC to rent on a daily basis. The previous season lasted around 17 days, and the total cost to rent the cards is around 680 DEC (20 x 2 x 17).
Daily Battles
Let's take a look at how much I earned from the daily battles over the 16 days at Silver II. I've had some really bad days for battles and as you can see from the table below, I've only made a little less than 600 DEC over the 17 days from daily battles - Not enough to cover the cost of rental.

Daily Quest
I had better luck with the daily quests. In total, I got 111 DEC, 6 Legendary and 5 Alchemy potions, 4 Rare reward cards, 16 Common reward cards and 1 Chaos Legion card pack. I'll like to think that I got the card pack due to the slightly higher drop rate at Silver II.
Season's Rewards
I didn't have much luck with this end of season's rewards. I got 11 DEC, 2 Legendary Potions, 1 Alchemy potion, 1 rare reward card and 9 common reward cards.
Conclusion
In terms of DEC, in most likelihood, you'll be able to earn enough to cover the cost of the card rentals. However, the daily quests and end of season rewards may be more rewarding as you'll get an additional 20 reward chests (17 from the daily quests and 3 from end of season).
In conclusion, it's not worth it if your purpose is to earn more DEC. However, if you want to progress to a higher league a little faster, it may be worth it.

renting is a good option to go for is you have no time to play or even take cards on rent if you want to play more
