Hi everyone! It's time for the a weekly battle challenge, and the challenge for this week is Dragons. For this challenge, I’m using Djinn Chwala and Desert Dragon with Quix the Devious as my summoner.

About the Monsters

Djinn Chwala
Djinn Chwala is a legendary card which is great at level 1 with high Health (9) and Shield (5) and has the Thorns ability, which deals 2 damage to Melee monsters that attack it. It gets the Enrage ability from level 4 and True Strike at level 6. I’m using the level 2 version which gets an additional attack.

Desert Dragon
Desert Dragon is another legendary card great at level 1 with high attack (4) and decent amount of Shield (3) and Health (6), and has the Trample ability. It gains the skills Piercing, Retaliate and Giant Killer at level 2, 3 and 4 respectively. It's attack also increases to 6 at level 4! Here, I'm using the level 1 version which is still great.

PositionNameDescription
1Djinn ChwalaIt has has 9 Health, 5 Shield and the Thorns ability against melee attacks. It’s a great card against Melee monsters and can last quite a bit as a tank.
2Desert DragonIt has 4 attack and the Trample ability, which can come in useful if it kills off a Monster.
3DisintegratorIt has the Demoralize ability and is used here to reduce the opponent's attack.
4Forgotten OneAnother great card with high attack (4), health (8) and shield (4), with the Immune ability.
5Sand WormYet another card with high attack (5), with the Sneak ability, not that the ability is required in this ruleset.
6Living LavaWith the Super Sneak ruleset, it's used to tank the last position with its Shield ability.

Strategy

The ruleset for Super Sneak meant that all Melee attacks will hit the Monster in the last position. As such, my strategy was to choose cards with high attack power, which is easy in this case given the high Mana Cap. The Healed Out ruleset also meant cards with Healing abilities are redundant as well.

I groaned when I saw the opponent using Mylor Crowling, as my Melee cards will take 2 damage everytime I hit his Monsters. Fortunately, my cards have high enough attack power to force it to a draw, which I'm pretty happy about. I've never won against Mylor Crowling when using Melee cards, so this draw is the next best thing that could have happened.

Thoughts on the card

I love Dragons as there are so many great Dragon cards, and they usually have high attack and high health. However, they also have high mana costs, and are better utilised in high mana battles like this one.
