Bits of knowledge for the regular sale - what you should remember before buying/opening packs

While we are all waiting for our credits to appear in game, let's go through a few thinks you should consider during the regular sale:

• Eligibility of airdrop cards
• Airdrop cards in packs
• Other items on the menu

Eligibility of airdrop cards

What are airdrop cards?

This will be a short intro on the Airdrop cards, feel free to jump to the next question, if you know them.

To appreciated the early buyers of Splinterlands card packs in-game airdrops were introduced. A total of 14 airdrops are planned for the Chaos legion pack sale. With each pack you own you will receive a small chance to receive an airdrop card on each consecutive airdrop for free (without the need to open a pack).

Simply put: If you bought a card pack before 5 million packs were sold, then you will be eligible for each of the 5th to 14th airdrop.

The airdrops will be revealed usually after a milestone was met.

You can check your airdrop rewards in the Show menu by clicking the button Airdrops. See picture below

How do Airdrop cards work in the first 24 hours of the general sale?

Now here comes the sweet part. All achieved airdrop milestones in the first 24 hours of the general sale are available for EVERYONE who bought a pack. This means that even if you bought the 6.000.000th pack in the first 24 hours of the general sale you will still be eligible for all airdrop cards from the 4th on! So if you wanted to buy cards, now is the time for it.

To receive a guaranteed 4th or 5th airdrop card you need to buy 350 packs in-game in total till the end of the 24 hours (Packs bought in pre-sale and Bonus packs count as well).

Claimable airdrop cards will be in packs

Now this one is an important one. On top of the chance of getting free cards through the airdrops except of the one and only Doctor Blight, all of the CLAIMABLE airdrop cards might be pulled also in the regular Chaos legion packs. This would be one of the 5 cards you receive in your pack.

Now I emphasis CLAIMABLE here for a good reason. I want to highlight, that if you have the inner strength to buy the packs during general sale and waiting with the opening till the 14 millionth card is sold, then you will have a chance to open packs with each of these cards in them! Isn't this sweet!

Other items on the menu

The flood of new cards, and money flowing into the packs opens new opportunities as well. Look at the market for good deals!

• Card prices are dropping, rare chaos legion summoners prices are slowly below 4 USD, check on cards value compared to their CP. If you see some cards very close then buy. Your wallet will thank you in the future. I'm waiting for an even heavier discount on Summoners. Hopefully I will be right!
• If airdrops are not important for you, then you can buy pack on Hive Engine for under $3.30
• Land: Just at the start of the presale land dropped from 330 to 290 Hive/plot, maybe we will see additional swings in the next days.

These are all things for people who feel less lucky then Aggroed on todays stream during his first pack opening...
In the case that you feel lucky, you can open your packs, maybe receive a few gold foils sell them and repeat ;)
