Pixelart: Rexxie

REXXIE

My pixelart version of Rexxie in the Splinterlands game. In this animation, Rexxie was hired to be the dinosaur in the Jurassic park film. What we are seeing here is the behind the scene. We can see the camera taking some shots of Rexxie. This part is where Rexxie chasing the main characters.

Making the outline of the head and body of Rexxie.

Here I am making some guidelines as I am trying to visualize how I will move its legs.

I placed a circle guide for the legs. To make sure that each set of legs are in the exact postion.

Creating the other set of legs.

Another set of legs. I made a total of four sets.

After that, I started to color its whole body and also the head.

Some shadings and details on the body.

Coloring its legs and nails.

Changed the color of its teeth into darker shade.

Added the color of the background.

Coloring the other set of legs and making some adjustments on the nails.

Making of the trees

Adding some leaves

Placing some grasses on the soil.

Rexxie and the background is now set.

Now creating the cart and the camera.

It is almost done.

Making some adjustments on the top part of the body of Rexxie per frame.

Moving the background and also adding some little bump animation on the cart.
