This was my worst season yet. It really feels like everyone has overtaken me. Most opponents seem to be fielding Selena Sky and a super heavy and very quick ranged attack that defeats anything I throw at it. Completing the daily quests has sometimes taken me all day. Actually getting to Champion III was a massive effort this season and I very nearly didn't make it. The meta has changed a lot and I need to figure some things out!

Last season I earned 32757 Total Ranked Play Earnings - so this is a huge drop for me... and it all comes from the fact that my teams/decks just are not competitive at the moment. I'm getting destroyed way more than ever. I am so glad that Chaos Legion is right around the corner and I can start to change up my card decks without spending thousands of dollars. I'm honestly really excited to have the playing field levelled somewhat.

The amazing @gregory-f taught me how to set up my rentals properly and so I've had a lot more success in this area. Last season I had earned 2052.050 DEC in rentals... so obviously a massive improvement there. Thanks so much Gregory!

My SPS airdrop points have been dropping substantially as so much SPS is getting staked and everyone is after those points. My total airdrop percentage might have gotten as high as 0.17% but it's 0.13% now and falling every day. It's a little disappointing sure, but I'm loving the energy and excitement around Splinterlands at the moment. It's an extremely exciting time to be a player and I'm glad everyone is having a great time.

Yeah man that's kind of one of the main reasons why I don't play just yet until I know what's going on I'm going to get pounded.
Oh well there is plenty more stuff to do on blockchain and thank you very much for your content.
Yeah, I do think the Chaos Legion edition will help a lot. It's just so expensive to max out cards and so changing a strategy to keep up with everyone can potentially cost thousands. Once Chaos Legion comes up, it'll mix things up a lot and hopefully cost way less to field competitive teams.

The standard of competition has absolutely improved. Very difficult prospect, to get into Champ. I didn't make it, myself; although I had several days off camping with the family this season.

I assume you've noticed that Selena Sky seems to be popping up way more than ever before? Or is that just me?
I've only just started using her more, myself. Had her for ages, but I either went for a regular summoner, or Archmage Arius, out of reflex.
She's great for pulling together a team of Water splinter archers. Sea monster, pirate captain and crustacean king are winning me a lot of battles, and Alric does nothing for them.
