Splinterlands Weekly Challenge - Tenyii Striker [ENG/ESP]
Hey everyone!
Welcome to this Challenge, this time with the Tenyii Striker. I’ve been quite off the game lately… with all the changes going on, I feel like I have to learn how to play as economically as possible again, since I depend on rentals to move up the ranks.
About the Tenyii Striker
For low Mana battles is a Mana expensive card, since it requires five to Summon, however, for battles that have a higher cap it can be very useful, since it’s one of the strongenst Sneak attackers of the game and quite fast too, because it gets Dodge at level four. At level seven, in addition to it’s Sneak and Dodge abilities, it also learns Backfire, which allows the Monster to inflict two points of damage to any enemy missing an attack on him.
Battles
Battle #1
Ruleset
- Broken Arrows: Ranged attack Monsters may not be used in battles.
- Only Fire and Life Splinters allowed.
- Mana cap: 25.
Lineup & Strategy
Well… Ranged attackers were not allowed, neither was allowed the Earth Splinter and, with only Fire and Life available, the most obvious choice for both of us was the Fire Splinter, so:
- In first position the Living Lava, slow but sturdy and strong against physical attacks.
- Second, the Chicken, as lure for the Serpentine Spy, which I know it was coming.
- Third, the Tenyii Striker, usually in the back, but this time I wanted to protect him a little bit more.
- Fourth, the Battering Ram, as second lure for the Serpentine Spy and, as another back line attacker.
- Fifth, my own Serpentine Spy, very low Health Points, but fast and dangerous.
- Sixth and last, I sacrificed four Mana points to cover my back with the Antoid Platoon, since I knew there was gonna be some strong Sneak attacker in my opponent’s team, either Tenyii or Uraeus.
Battle #2
Ruleset
- Lost Magic: Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.
- Life and Dragon Splinters not allowed.
- Mana cap: 15.
Lineup & Strategy
No Magic was allowed here, so there was no point in using the Earth Splinter. Very short Mana cap battle, not ideal for the Tenyii Striker, but I had to do this Challenge.
- First position, the Antoid Platoon, quite useful, since Magic wasn’t allowed, their Shield protected them to endure one more hit.
- Just in case, the Chicken, in second position.
- Had two Mana left, so I put the Battering Ram as an extra attacker.
- And at last position the Tenyii Striker for the Challenge and as the main reference of attack.
This is it for this Challenge guys, thanks for reading.
Thanks for stopping by!
