Hi guys, I'm back again for another Share your Battle Weekly Challenge, promoted by the wonderful community of @Splinterlands.

I kind have a Love/hate relationship with the card of this week, the self-healing tank Sea Monster.
This because this card can turn into everything during the battle: it can become immortal or leave the game in a few seconds without even playing an offensive move.

This because this card is quite expensive to evoke, 8 mana, and it's really slow, especially at level 1. So I'm usually avoiding to play this card in high mana game (it doesn't work as a tank, it dies before starting healing) but I find it pretty useful in low mana games, especially if you're able to cut down enemy's offence somehow.

This card come pretty cheap on the market: it's currently valued around 0.06$ on the market, so it shouldn't be hard to bring it quickly to at least level 3, where it's not so slow anymore.

Sea Monster

#Edition: REWARD
#Rarity: COMMON
#Element: WATER
#ATTACK: MELEE
#ABILITIES: Heal at level 1; Thorns at level 6

There are rumors of Sea Monsters that can swallow a ship whole. The truth is, there are Sea Monsters big enough to swallow the Sea Monster that swallowed the ship whole. Most land lubbers cannot conceive how deep within the planet or how far beyond the horizon the oceans go.

My strategy

For this battle I thought of something a little bit outside the box. The battle rules where Earthquake and Up Close & Personal, so only monsters with Meele attack were allowed to take part.

Since I don't have many monsters with Meele combined with flying ability, I thought to use monsters with high life, trying to resist as much as i can, supporting them with a Drake of Arnak Summoner to give them +1 shield.

I used then a Chain Golem as a tank (shield ability only take 1 damage form earthquake) supported by Gloridax Guardian, able to attack from 2nd position. I then used the Sea Monster, a Gloridax Soldier and a Sea Worm, able to attack form the last position.

The only job for my Sea Monster was to stay alive until the point where he could reached the battle, healing himself from the damages of earthquake. My strategy turned out to work pretty well, and I was able to win this battle. At the end Sea Monster didn't even attack once, but he was able to stay healthy healing himself!

Cheers!

Yours, the very Confused Martin Babalor

Thanks for sharing! - @ashikstd

Don't go into a hate relationship with this monster as it can hunt on the ground as well.
Well done on the battlefield.
Keep on battling.
