Splinterlands - Effective utilization of Energy Capture Rate

The recent changes to the game rewards have been moved away from reward cards to a system where we get loot chests based on the level we are in. I have claimed and opened 3 loot chests so far after this new change. All the three were pretty decent but obviously I cannot expect so much from these loot chests if I'm part of lower league and if my luck is not good. Some of my friends were not very happy about that but I personally feel that it will take some more time for us to judge if it will work well or not. In the meantime, I guess there is already a good room available for earning from the game.

I mainly wanted to talk about the energy capture rate in this article and the effective utilization of ECR. I believe that is still a good system to earn some decent DEC rewards from the daily gameplay. To be honest, I guess every win gives us some DEC that we can spend on some splinterlands goodies. We can either accumulate the DEC to become a decent quantity or just go about purchasing some small cards with those DEC. The effective utilization of the Energy Capture rate can still give us some decent rewards every single day for the gameplay along with the additional quest reward we get.

In order to make effective utilization of the Energy capture rate, one can play twice a day. Mostly I do it once in the morning and another time in the evening. But if I don't have any daily quest to complete, I become lazy to make use of the energy capture rate. I know that some of my friends are very good at utilizing the Energy capture rate very well. They don't let it stay 100 percent. At the same time, there are also people who over-utilize the Energy capture rate and drain it fully. That will not be a good idea because the opportunity to earn more DEC reduces.
