Splinterlands - Time to combine my Death deck cards

For some people, Death cards are their first preference when it comes to battles but for me, it is just the opposite. Even after upgrading my summoners to a decent level, I find it quite hard to play with Death splinter. Especially when I get Death cards during my daily quest, I simply try to refresh quest and skip it. I spent some interesting time to take a look at my Death deck and upgraded some of my cards.

While viewing the cards, I did notice that there were some interesting cards in my Death deck.

Undead Minotaur is one of the most common Death cards that we usually receive from quest rewards and season reasons. That is one good reason why I had 74 cards in my deck. My primary card was already in Level 6 but I hardly use it and after seeing 74 more cards, I wanted to combine them and upgrade the card to level 7. With the number of cards I have been getting already, I guess I will be able to upgrade the card to the max level soon.

Boogeyman is again one of the new cards that I more frequently get from quest rewards and season rewards. I have no idea as to how I should strategically use this card yet. Maybe after I get serious about my Death deck, I might get some idea. For now, I had room to upgrade this card to Level 3 and I did upgrade it.

Octopider is yet another new card that I have been receiving from the quest rewards. I noticed that there was room to upgrade this card as well. The abilities of the card look interesting to me. I guess the mana cost of the card is something that we might have to consider. Other than that this is going to be a good card if there are no big mana restrictions in the game. I have now upgraded this card to level 3 and it comes with an ability to reduce the melee attack of the monsters.
