Splinterlands - Upgraded my Giant Roc to Level 7

For a very long time, I have been thinking about upgrading some of my fire monster cards. Now that my fire summoner is in Level 6, it will be ideal to upgrade the monster cards to the same level or a level better than that. Not that all the cards are received from the quest rewards. There are some cards we have to purchase only from the market. I had around 3000 DEC available in my account for spending. I have also been receiving some DEC from loot chests as well. As part of this activity, I upgraded my Giant Roc card to the next level.

Giant Roc

This is the first card that came to my mind when I thought about upgrading the fire monsters. The reason is that this is one of the most frequently used cards in my deck and after the upgrade to level 6, it also gains an additional skill. I had to buy around 27 cards to bring it to level 6. There was a level 5 card with 52 BCX available for sale in the market I thought of buying that card from the market and upgrade my existing card.

One tricky thing is that I can't use the card for the next few days because it was recently used in the battle. Instead of waiting for 5 days to use the card, I bought a level 7 card from the market with 132 BCX. But for this I had to spend Steem instead of DEC. I'm planning to sell my existing level 5 Giant Roc.
