New week, new challenge. This week, it's all about the haunted spider from the death splinter. One of my weak splinters, so I decided to give my girlfriend's account a shot and battle this one out in bronze.

The ruleset

30 mana, plain and simple.

Let's go on and introduce our bad boy/girl/spider of the week:

As we are in bronze, nothing spectacular, but 2 damage for 3 points is nothing to joke with!

The lineup

Our enemie likes to play water magic. Low health, high damage units. Our spider can do some serious damage here, if it gets enough turns! Let's go!

Our leader

With expected magic and with our complete starter-deck-only death splinter, this is my choice, no doubt. I hope to get an extra turn on my frontline in decreasing their firepower in the first spot. Comes always in handy :)

The tank

Anti magic and a decent oooomph with good health and shields. Prefered this one over haunted spirit, although it's a bit more expensive, but void is too good against magic.

The monster

It's gold and shiny and eats your favorite backline for breakfast. If i can squeeze in this classic, I always will.

The fool

2 damage and a snipe. The Jester can start working on the backseat from round 1 and I need those down ASAP. The joke is on you!

The beauty

no brainer - 'nough said! The spider, I, and you the fly...

The mad scientist

Every evil group needs this one! The stars will align for us now MUAHAHAHA Also with 4 HP a nice last unit, if there is any sneak by surprise.

Let's get readyyyy to RUUUUUUUUMMMMMBLEEEEEEE...

Aaaaaaand - no magic... Well, that's life no pun intended. The shieldbearer is quite a tank to chew through and the kitty is getting us on the clock, because we might lose our damage dealers. Good thing we are kind of beefy in the last spot, but I'm honestly a bit worried... Good thing about the setup is that our summoner cancels out the silvershield knight, which would bring some serious damage into his lineup. His summoner with the shield is kind of a bummer tho as we not only have to get rid of the shieldbearer, but every unit in the backline gets a free turn against our sandworm.

Round 2

Well, both frontlines are taking some serious damage and I feel my sandworm will be sooner in the front then I would like it to be.

Round 3

What else to say other then following the words of the great Hannibal Smith: *I love it when a plan comes together. Shield gone off the 2nd tank and our worm gets to eat!

Round 4

Well, well, well... Besides the 1 speed, our worm keeps hitting the targets. Now the cat with 4 speed could still be annoying if we get unlucky with dodges...

Round 5

Piece of cake. How can i doubt the death splinter. It brings death, right? The poor Peacebringer may he rest in peace is maybe not the unit to be left alone in the frontline....
