So Hyped...

I normally try not to give into the FOMO.
With all that is happening at this moment:

  • Jacek (new CL summoner)
  • Riftwatchers
  • Tower Defence
  • Runi
  • Licenses
  • Genesis Soccer League

Now i'm feeling it (FOMO), I want it all...
Rational i need to step back and look at my goals and conclude: I do not have the money to buy in at all.

Goals:
Prepare for Riftwatchers (1000SPS 75-100$) (Done)
Prepare to buy Conqueror Jacek (75$ level 2)
Upgrade / max out silver deck (250$)
More staked SPS for playing more tournaments(750SPS 60$) (Done by 25-Aug-2022)

STICK TO THE PLAN (repeat this 100 times)

Riftwatchers:

Sticked to plan and bought 50 packs which should get me one copy of the promo card.

A bit more spend then intended, i agree FOMO 😁
3023 SPS (~210$)

Tower defense:

Because i love the tower defense genre i aped in and bought 3 whole packs lol 🤣. More voucher I did not have. So i did not overspend but probably will also not have enough to play the game. We will see.

I really hope this game will be different than the 3000+ tower defense games on the google play store that are mostly boring after 10 minutes playtime :)

But i must say even though i think 500$ is a good price and with the current discount 320$ (250$+70$ 100 vouchers) I probably better of upgrading my deck and make it more ready for gold. This is a better investments then one card that is very good.

Licenses

From investment point of view i think licenses are a great opportunity. When a certain branch is filled price will increase also on the second hands market. The voucher and SPS drops are a nice incentive also. For now they are to expensive, need to double my investment for 1 license.
Which makes me not more competitive in the silver higher leagues.

Genesis Soccer League

I have not made my mind up yet what i want with genesis soccer league. If I can obtain some packs and try out the game I will do that for sure. Not sure if the genre excites me enough. So money wise i might pass this project. This might change when i see the game or the investment opportunities.

Conclusion

I did not wander of to much from my goals. But must say some days it is hard. Only leveling my deck up in Splinterlands is already way more investment that i intended to spend on any game. But i believe in the future and hope it is maintainable with newer releases. Currently that is one of the biggest down side of the game IMHO. You need to keep reinvesting to get higher or to collect the new editions.
