Battle Analysis featuring Stone Golem
This time ill share with you how to effectively use stone golem.
Stone Golem is a rare earth monster card best played in the first position. While it does not excel offensively, defensively it's one of the few cards from the earth splinter capable of absorbing damage and sustaining itself for prolonged matches.
For just 5 Mana, you get 1 melee physcal damage with 1 speed, substantial 6 health and 2 armor. The shield ability reduces incoming physical damage making it an ideal tank.

Win even before the battle has started
In most splinterland matches, battles can be won even before the game has started.
Two things to look out for are the ruleset and what your opponent will most likely use by just checking the splinters that can be used.
- This battle has the ruleset silenced summoners
- Only Earth splinter can be used. And checking the last battles of my opponent, he relies heavily on Mylor for its thorn abilities.
Round 1
Knowing that my enemy won't have his mylor thorns in effect. I went for my stone golem tank. I want a tanky frontline as well as backline that's why i have earth elemental in the last position. It's always important to have at least 1pc 2 damage card, that's why included Beatrix Ironhand.
My opponent surprisingly went for a magic defensive lineup with Unicorn mustang and Failed Summoner.
Round 2
I've dealt solid amount of damage on his unicorn mustang. While my stone golem tank is still in full health. Only the armor has been damaged from the previous round.
Round 3
By the start of round 3, you can notice that my stone golem is still at 4 health versus the enemy tanks 2 health. remember that in the second round we both started with the same health. This match is starting to favor me because of the shield ability of my stone golem.
Round 4
This round starts with me having a huge lead. My stone golem first position tank did not take any damage from last round. I haven't lost any cards yet. And i've already eliminated my opponents first 2 cards.
Round 5
The final round. After the opposing team has lost their tank, there's not much that my enemy can do. I am assured of the victory. And this fifth round is just the nail in the coffin as I am guaranteed to win this match.
