Talia Firestorm Mini Version

This art is inspired by Talia Firestorm - A rare 2 mana cost summoner from the fire splinter.
A very useful card when you're playing silenced summoners and given youve got a strong fire deck.

Now i wanted to make her cuter and smaller. So my idea is to have her cross referenced to this mobile game character from cut the rope.

So here's how it's done.

First i created a pencil outline. By the way, I'm using ipad pencil, ipad air and the procreate app.

We then proceed to create darker outines, You can do this by using the pen or sharpee tool

tip: make use of multiple layers so that you won't have to manually erase the outlines coming from the pencil when you're doing freehand.

Afterwards we proceed with adding the base colors

and once you're set you can do shadings by using contrasting colors to provide depth plus light and shadow effects on your illustration

And lastly the some finishing touches and background art.
