THGaming Brawlers -Tier 3 brawl report

One of my best Twitter accounts is Splinterlands. It keeps me informed about all the important news in the ecosystem and #Hive posting events like a media challenge. In my opinion, those challenges are an incredible way of increasing the pride of being part of this community, as every player shares his/her game experience with others, allowing others to learn about everyone's successes and mistakes. For this one, I bring the last brawl report from my guild, THGaming Brawlers. Hope you like it!

The beginning of a new era

We've been told again and again in the last Town Halls that guilds would take a serious place in the game. The picture that follows represents the guild's actual status in the game:

The first step was to bring SPS rewards to brawls. I have been lucky to enlist in a tier 3 guild in the THGaming community. Our actual rewards for this tier are about 50 SPS per brawl and 2.800 Merits! (more than a Gladius Pack per brawl). Things can't go better in this way. I recommend everyone to join a guild, just as proof of how important is the social aspect in #splinterlands

Conscript is the ability that will change everything. We are a few days close to the new soulbound summoners being released. Every single of these summoners can bring a Gladius card into a ranked battle and 2 Gladius cards for brawl battles. We've been told that all the efforts done in brawls would shine one day in the whole game. And this day has come. Can't wait to bring my level 2 Quora to ranked. This ability will change entire dynamics (added to new rewards).

To begin to adapt to new dynamics, some tournaments have been launched where we can bring our gladius cards. I support all the efforts of the Executive team in creating events to learn and adapt to the game. Every single splinterlands player must have 3 sources of income for playing the game: ranked, brawls and tournaments. Wasting one is wasting a third of your opportunities

Finally, representing the one where we've got less information but also where there's more hope we've got alliances. Macro guilds cooperating for benefit. This huge update should go live by the end of Q2 2023.

We've been told that guilds would represent an important part of the game. Brawls generate SPS rewards (remember that SPS is the governance token of the game that today has the utility of voting proposals, staked on the game offers a 24% APR, and it's planned to replace CP for ranked and rewards), and now the Brawl rewards will be played on ranked. The best of this social part of the game is to come!

Brawl report

We were the 4ths in our Brawl. Tier 3 brawls have become quite difficult and my mark was on 4 Victories 4 losses:

We will do it better for sure in the next brawl as our objective is to improve day by day. Nevertheless, we got almost 42 SPS (that's more than 1,1$ today for playing a game!) and 2.800 merits which are almost 1,5 Gladius cases! Not bad! Thanks, Splinterlands! Just with the big difference that now these cards will be able to be played in ranked!

Show me the battles! - Rathe Masterclass

For the first one, I bring you a master class from my guildmate @investor777 beating maxed-out Alric, Dr. Blight, etc without losing a single card in a 52 Mana, Max level cards, 3 Rulset - Thorns, Close Range & Reverse Speed Battle. The board looked as follows:

Investor gave Rathe the chance to show how reliable are his armies. Rathe transformed Uriel's 7 Armor into Magic resistance and added +1 to the whole army (transforming every casualty in a hard objective for Alric). Also, Renova and Adelade became a great wombo combo for him. Take note of the master position of Prismologist, covering SandWorm. And he was placed in the battle. That block transforming 7 into 1 Damage annoyed Alric till the infinite. Investors, u are a boss!
Take note of how cute his Runi is! From this post, I suggest a Raw trade with mine! ;), Also this guy made great work with this combination of rulesets, being the first to shoot and immune to thorns
Although Captain Katie did not take the MVP, it is the announcement of tons of MVPs if not predicted properly for the next ranked matches. Take care guyz, If you don't predict Magic and Captain is on duty, you will have a problem.

Show me the battles! - Hunting Quora

For the second one, I bring you a Quora Hunting. It was a Gold level 58 Mana with True Strike, Melee only, and Amplify. Melee only and amplify is the perfect scenario for one of my favorite creatures: Windeku. Also, I knew that Quora could be there and brought some affliction to battle. The board looked as follows:

I call myself Windeku as a kind of bread'n butter tank. In the scenarios where only Melee is allowed, his auto-heal shines. Also, his thors were amplified for the active ruleset. Supported by Tatiana and Shadow Snitch, performed an outstanding duty and melted Titans like Grund and Arkemis.
Shadow Snitch is an outstanding offtank. I even bring him over other higher mana off tanks because of affliction. I love this debuff as interrupts my enemy's survival plans. Take note of what did to poor quora
It was not the best match for Tatiana but helped melt enemy Tanks. Also, I planed a sneak covering with Disintegrator and Runi that worked quite well vs Sandworm and Uraeus.
