Is PSYBER X the next groundbreaking blockchain game on Hive?
I got onboard on Splinterlands since its inception, participation in the presale, and that rewarded me unimaginably. Now there is another Hive blockchain game in the making, an upcoming Battle Royale game that will include MMO gameplay and is known under the codename: PSYBER X. The crowdfunding is happening here on Hive blockchain and they've already completed the first phase for Tier 1 investors. Next in line are the Tier 2 and Tier 3 investors or early gamers adopters with a requirement to have 1,000,000 LVL tokens for Tier 2 and 300,000 LVL tokens for Tier 3 by the snapshot date of 10th of November 2021.
After giving some thinking or maybe FOMO, I've decided today to get on board and get myself some LVL tokens to be eligible for Tier 2. The total supply for LVL tokens is 500 Million and with a balance of 1,000,750 LVL, I think I am staying pretty well. It wasn't easy as I had to pull funds from different sources like selling Splinterlands cryptocurrencies like DEC, my SPS earnings for one day and 1,600 WAX tokens. In total for the mentioned LVL amount, I have spent at current market prices 1,500 HIVE or $1,165.08 which seems quite hefty. Still, I believe we are in early-stage (crowdfunding phase) and if the projects will provide what promises, it could be a great investment.
Reaching Tier 2 requirements, there are some perks awaiting after the 10th of November snapshot that should get into my account in about 30 days. The early adopter prizes or incentives are the following:
- Founder title
- One unlocked character.
- 2 Exclusive in-game weapons
- Exclusive in-game content
I aimed for Tier 2 as Tier 3 wasn't too appealing for me even if it comes with some perks as well like:
- Founder title
- 1 Exclusive in-game weapon
Once I will be getting my NFTs with the Tier 2 incentives, will need to see what's next in the game. The scope of LVL tokens is to be able to enter the game and earn from shooting stuff in it. The tokenomics are still to be laid down and hopefully, they will contain also some DeFi instruments which are intertwining so well with blockchain games. And that's about it from my side, if I FOMOed on this or made a smart investment only time will tell, but no risk no reward. And to tell you the truth the project looks pretty awesome, the community is building up and hopefully, the devs and founders will deliver!

Go to Hive-Engine and search for LVL token to find the market. Than you can buy some tokens using HIVE.

There were some accusations about the legitimacy of this project.
Did you look into this? I believe @ecoinstant did a post about it.

From my part I think that @psyberx has so far done the right thing and learn to take criticism in stride - it seems to me like their intentions are to produce a game. Caveat Emptor as always, but I get more excited about it the longer they interact and build on HIVE.

The fact huge companies have struggled with games of this size and scope suggests it's not a viable project. Why don't they wait until an open beta is out before launching tokens!
It would be far better to plug hive into an existing game, or partner with a game studio.
There will be 2 phases.
Phase 1 will be a Battle Royale style game. Similar to Fortnite with some twists.
This is to get the ball rolling.
Phase 2 will be the bigger edition that will be built on forever. It will take many years, but everyone can join in testing along the way as we complete features.
