Christmas crypto, more credits and selling vouchers

Compliments of the season beautiful people and welcome to another beautiful day. I hope you had a lovely Christmas day with all the gifts, sharing food and stuff.

I had a really good one and capped it off with an evening outing. One of my cousins was in town, so we went to a barbeque and there was a lot of fish.

We got back quite late, I think it was about 2 am. I had to take @pappyelblanco home first and then complete the trip home.

I handled my alcohol pretty well, so when we got back I wasn't wasted. I wasn't feeling sleepy, so I decided to peep the crypto market, as I resisted the urge to check for most of the day.

Christmas crypto

Prior to going out, we had a few conversations about the crypto market. @wolfofnostreet talked about how there were so many Nigerians living off crypto and Patrick also discussed some fun crypto stories.

I like where we are all in our lives because we're all trying to improve. I believe that any ody trying to improve their life is in a good position and if you have the platform to grow then that's just perfect.

Crypto offers the platform and we're taking advantage of it. Patrick has been getting more experience in crypto content writing and hive stuff. He will diversify and I'm sure big things are coming his way.

My wife decided to take crypto trading more seriously. She installed Binance exchange into her phone and has already started been buying some uncut gems in the market.

Other than them, I get frequently contacted by @deraaa, unfortunately, she couldn't be around yesterday. She's also growing.

One new face around Leofinance is @andyy21(Andara). He's my previous landlord's son that I told about crypto writing nearly two years ago and recently, he's been making really great content.

Andara couldn't make it to my place yesterday but he'll come during the week. He wants to learn the basics of spot trading, p2p trading, and all that stuff. It's exciting.

My siblings @ebingo and @young-boss-karin are awesome and doing awesome things in their corners of the world. I'm pleased to say that we're all self-sufficient and can handle our own shit by ourselves.

Christmas pump

I woke up this morning to see Hive trading at $1.8. that's a small jump from $1.6 that it settled at but I reckon this is an indicator for big things to come during the week.

It's important to note that hive has consistently shown bullish signs throughout the mini beer market we experienced. Now that we're winding down the year, assets are looking kind of bullish and hive is following suit.

Daddy Bitcoin for example is already comfortably sat above $50k and other assets look ready to jump on the pump.

Hive is one of the assets primed for a pump and this is coming at a really great time. Note that there are at least two airdrops coming to hive in January of next year.

The larynx token airdrop in particular promises to gobble up a decent chunk of hive and I reckon that will have a positive compounding effect on the value of hive as the days go on.

Hive also continues to gain popularity in the wider crypto community. This popularity is because of a variety of reasons that includes developments in games like Splinterlands.

General sale and vouchers

The Splinterlands SPS token airdrop has largely been successful for the most part. The price of SPS tokens is kind of low but that's only temporary.

Things will start to unravel in a good way as we go further into the new year. One event that's got everybody on strings is the general sale of Chaos Legion packs that starts in roughly 17 days.

I'm one of the excited people and I've already accumulated $600 worth of Splinterlands credits towards this mission. The goal is to get up to at least $1200 worth, if you include the potions I'll need to open the packs.

I believe that when the general sale comes to an inevitable end after a short period, we'll start to see Splinterlands assets climb back up. There will be an initial shock though and then it's upwards.

I'm accumulating vouchers now and picking my moment to sell them. However, what I can say for sure is that the closer we get to the general sale, the lower the price of vouchers.

There will be a one-week period when vouchers stop being airdropped before the general sale. I reckon there might be a rush during that period, and I intend to sell vouchers for credits then.

There's just so much happening around the area, and if you blink, you'll miss a lot. I'm getting prepared for all the airdrops and I intend to maximise my profit whenever the time comes.

I cannot stop buying vouchers and opening packs until the general sale. I'm not sure if it's better to keep liquid voucher or use them for packs ^^

My approach, at the suggestion of @jongolson, is to sell the Vouchers on H-E and buy CHAOS tokens. Then send them to @steemmonsters and they will appear as packs in your Splinterlands account. That is a way to save some money and get packs at a discount compared to paying the $4 plus the voucher.

I am not buying a ton but it does seem to work very well.

That's a great idea for sure.

I also try to increase my tickets for the upcoming 14 airdrops during Chaos Legion sales. Although I spend about 3-4 bucks more for the packs, the airdrop cards may compensate the expenses depending on my luck ✌
