4 MONTHS OF SPLINTERLANDS

december rewards (2).jpg

Hello dear fellow SPLINTERLANDS players, how are you? I hope so.

Another month is over, another year has started and here I am again for a retrospective about my last month in Splinterlands.

I will share with you a little of the experience I had in the month of December, a bit of statistics (matches, average wins and others) and what I expect from the future in the game.

So here we go.

With the release of Chaos Legion last December was certainly characterized as a month of renewal and discovery within Splinterlands.

The insertion of several new cards caused a substantial change in the dynamics of the game, causing new teams to emerge and completely change the characteristics of the battles.

And, as I have already addressed in another post, I had a hard time moving up from the Bronze League to the Silver League at the beginning of the seasons, and I believe that the amount of games I played this month increased substantially because of this.

I have been using the earth team in the bronze league most of the time, and I still haven't decided which is the best formation, I will have to make big notes of teams I have faced, which ones I have beaten and which ones I have lost to be able to evolve in an easier way.

But, notwithstanding that fact, I managed to finish both December seasons in Silver league, having spent approximately 70% of each season in such a league, receiving daily reward chests from such, although I did not receive any legendary cards or gold.

I still have to rent power from the marketplace in order to evolve to the Silver league, having reached at most Silver 3, as renting for Silver 2 proves to be too expensive and would make the procedure unfeasible.

Renting through Peakmonster proves to be very useful and profitable, and is a great tool for those of us who need to rent power to evolve from one league to another.

Let's now move on to the statistical part of the post and see objectively how my month of December went.

By the end of my third month in Splinterlands I had participated in a total of 2,841 battles, so considering that I currently have 4,114 battles it is possible to conclude that in the month of December (my fourth month in Splinterlands) I participated in 1,273 battles.

In November I had participated in a total of 676 battles, which means an increase of almost 100% in the amount of battles fought in December compared to November.

December was also the second month with more battles, second only to September when I started in Splinterlands.

Let's see a nice graph with the data above:

image.png

This incredible increase in the amount of battles in the month of December was due, by logical consequence, to the increase of the average amount of daily battles, having done a daily average of 42.4 battles in December, while in the month of November the average was 22.5 per day.

I believe that this increase in the number of battles was due to the difficulty that I faced to reach the silver league, and on certain days my capture rate reached close to 40%, which proves that I fought many battles that day.

Let's see the graph with the daily average of battles:

In the month of January, and my consequent return to work, I believe the average daily battles will reduce a bit, or not 😁, but certainly December was a busy month for me in Splinterlands.

I actually expect to face less difficulty in reaching the silver league, which will automatically reduce my amount of daily battles.

I also usually calculate my average win rate according to my battle totals, and at the end of the Splinterlands quarter, having participated in a total of 4,114 battles and won 2,092 of them, the average win rate came to 50.8%.

Which is a small reduction since in the month of November my average win rate was 51%.

And finally, in the month of December I could not beat the record rating, which closed November at 1,902, nor the record of sequential wins (16) that currently seems almost impossible to beat

Well friends, that was an overview of my December in Splinterlands, having wrapped up the fourth month and the amazing year 2021 with honors.

I hope in 2022 to improve more and more in this great game, including reaching the Silver II league and, who knows, the Silver I league in the future.

I am also looking to get some good cards for power, thus reducing the amount of daily rent I have to make in order to stay in the Silver league, which would help me with the economic result in the game.

Anyway, despite these facts, I am very satisfied and hope to have many months of Splinterlands ahead of me.
