Hey Summoners,

Its me again !!!

For this week's Challenge battle i bring you, Goblin Fire....Umm i meant Shaman.

I dont really play Fire often despite it being a very overpowered color with Yodin Zaku. Managed to rent a decent Silver level Fire deck for some tournaments that why i am able to show this.

The Goblin Shaman is basically a Support unit that de-buffs all opponent with a -1 HP & -1 Slow, perfect addition for a Yodin Zaku or Pablo team !! Definately at higher level play like Diamond and up, buffs and de-buffs are needed to squeeze whatever extra stats to your favor.

Strategy

Honestly this is pretty random and i do not know what to expect due to so many splinter choices and Little League but i figured i will try to do the Challenge here as the Weaken ability from the Shaman will be pretty good in a Little League fight.

After revealing the hand i figured this is a 50/50 fight cause if he can eat thru my first 2 creatures i am pretty much dead but i do stand a chance due to his weak backline and i got a strong unit with Blast on my side.

The Lineup

For the Summoner, as Yodin is too expensive for this ruleset i wanna make use of some blast damage from the Fire Demon so i figured i go with Selenia Sky as dragon also provides me a decent tank for only 2 cost - Dragon Spirit. Selenia is also able to buff all my ranged units...3 damage for 4 mana cost creatures is NO JOKE.

• Dragon Spirit
  Very tanky if the opponent does not go for magic....5 Speed Flying with 7 health !! Unfortunately they have mostly Magical Damage so i didn't felt too good about this

• Uraeus
  Was looking for a 3 cost filler and this probably the best i can find. If Dragon Spirit stays alive long enough this snake can do some chip damage to the backline

• Goblin Shaman
  Quite a good ruleset to include our featured creature here. The cheap water magic spammer have naturally low Health so this guy here not only minus their health but also slows them down which is critical in me getting some shots in first.

• Fire Demon
  Blast Blast and Blast. 3 damage blast...crazy good in this if the guys in front of him can stay alive long enough

• Imp Bowman
  With the Buff from Selenia its doing 3 damage....was just looking for high damage low cost range unit, and this one fits the bill

• Spark Pixie
  Again the Damage is pretty good and it has very high speed which allows it to almost always go first and dodge incoming Non Magical Sneak attack.

Started well, just into round 1 due to my speed i took out their tank and a backline Pixie...that is less 2 damage per round. Things still look very good.

Start of Round 2 the Kelp got destroyed but i guess my tank is going to be dead too...but up to this point i figured i am surely winning this unless i miss all my attacks hahaha....

Hahaha they didn't even survive Round 2...just too fast and too much damage !! Looks like an Easy GG....

Conclusion

The strategy worked out very well as i out-speed and out-dps them. The shaman was very useful here in de-buffing their health and speed !! Love it when things do work out in the end.

I will definately use him again if i have Fire quest or some tournament again !! Just hope i rented the correct one and not the fire mage...huhuhu
