Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳

This is now the 28th consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. Of course, this also marks my 28th weekly giveaway! 🎉🥳🎊

This past week saw the commencement of a new season, and with it, the new changes to how Ranked Rewards will now be calculated. Basically, instead of Daily Quests, we now have daily Focus Splinters in which wins will give us points to accumulate chests based on our previous End of Season League finishing. 🎁🎁🎁

I only managed to finish in Gold 2 this season unfortunately. Being on a holiday meant I had no time to rent more power for the End of Season rank ups. I didn't really want to finish in Diamond though, because of the impending changes for the next season. However, I would have at least rented enough for a Gold 1 League finish if I had the time to do so.

Once again, my EOS rewards have been average and I don't have much to complain about. After all, I still got a decent amount of cards and my Collection Power is still gradually growing. My quest for that elusive Gold Foil Legendary from my rewards chests continues on though 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀 (It's a 0.008% chance to pull a legenday gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉). I'll get there some day (i hope).

Back to the new season though, Daily Rewards chests and future End of Season rewards have been forever changed! 🤯😱🤯😱🤯😱

The potential for more (and better) chests is definitely there, although I've got to say that more playtime is now needed if you want to achieve the same number of chests as before. As a side effect, it seems that many bots have been temporarily retired until they're configured to adapt to the new rule changes. 🤖🤖🤖

Here's a quick rundown on the improvements in rewards chests for those who're still unfamiliar. The higher your previous End of Season finishing, the better the chests you'll qualify for in the following season during the Daily Focus. Be warned though, if you're not playing at the league you're supposed to be at, you'll find that acquiring points for the higher level chests will be more difficult and you might end up with even lesser chests than before. ⚠️⚠️⚠️

🏆💰🎁First Chaos Legion Legendary Summoner Airdrop🏆💰🎁

After months of anticipation, the FIRST Chaos Legion Legendary Summoner airdrop has finally been revealed. And it is none other than the Life Summoner, Grandmaster Rathe!

As a reward for the top Splinterlands presale purchasers, they got to design the legendary Summoners for the airdrops. This one in particular was designed by @moriarty95 and will be the ninth Chaos Legion card to be airdropped,

Grandmaster Rathe gives +1 Armor to all friendly characters, and gives all units the ability to block Magic attacks through the Void Armor ability. This makes every single Life unit even tankier than ever! Rathe also increases the effects of damage reflection abilities with his Amplify ability too! He'll definitely turn the Life Deck into a defensive counter attacking powerhouse. I shudder to line up against Life Decks with Grandmaster Rathe. It's going to take a lot of fire power to break through all that defensive abilities that he'll imbue his units with.

He isn't released yet though, we've still got some way to go till we hit the next million point. I will sincerely pray to the RNG Gods to bless me with this airdrop though 🤣🍀🤞🏻, even if my odds are infinitesimally small with my meagre 11 packs purchased.

Weekly Chaos Legion Sales Tracker

And now, for an update on the number of Chaos Legion packs sold thus far. About 58k sold since last week. Still not too bad. That is still quite an amazing sales figure! 😄

The average number of packs sold per week seems to have stabilized back to the normal 50+k/week again.
