Good Day to all Splinterlands players! (and people of HIVE! 😜) I've made it a point to blog about my weekly progress and experiences in Splinterlands/HIVE in my "weekly diary". Splinterlands & HIVE are what I'd consider to be my entry point into the World of Crypto, and I intend to use this as a means to look back on the path I've taken in the years ahead.⏳⏳⏳

This is now the 32nd consecutive week writing in my Diary (of sorts) detailing my Splinterlands Journey ever since I started this game. Of course, this also marks my 32nd weekly giveaway! 🎉🥳🎊

The new changes to the Rewards system has gone into place just a few days before the end of the Season which concluded recently. That means I've to make some minor adjustments to my playstyle yet again. Fortunately, it's just minor tweaks which shouldn't affect the average player. The main difference being that a player will now earn chests BASED ON his league AT THE POINT of a new daily focus starting. This probably closes up the loophole where low level bronze accounts steamroll using high level cards in the higher leagues and easily earn an outsized number of chests with a single win. 🏆🏆🏆

My 2nd End of Season rewards ever since the major revamp has been rather decent once again. It isn't mindblowingly good (AKA no GFLs 😭💔), but definitely above average 🤣. 1 Legendary, 1 Gold Foil Common and 3 packs do count as pretty decent returns afterall. 🤑🤑🤑

My quest for that elusive Gold Foil Legendary from my rewards chests continues on though 🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀🤞🏻🍀 (It's a 0.008% chance, at base level, to pull a legendary gold foil, in case you were wondering 😉). I'll get there some day (i hope).

🏆💰🎁Modern and Wild Format Coming Soon🏆💰🎁

We're FINALLY hearing some really concrete news about the commencement of MODERN/WILD. And from the looks of it, it could come REALLY SOON! 😱🥳

Here's some key points as were discussed during the latest Splinterlands Town Hall.

• Internal testing is ongoing and everything seems to be going well.
• A public test will be available for Mavericks as soon as this week and if everything goes well, it could be released by the END OF THE MONTH! 😱
• Some details about Modern/Wild
  • Modern will always be the two most recent core editions and their child editions:
    • Untamed (Core) & Dice (Child)
    • Chaos Legion (Core) & Rift Watchers (Child)
• The Leaderboards and DEC pools will be separate for Modern and Wild.
• Both formats will share the same ECR (so no grinding on both if you're thinking of some hardcore min-maxing 😂).
• The highest league achieved in either of those formats will determine the EoS chests for the next season.
• The ratings reset for the EoS will still be as per normal and both formats will be reset individually.

All these are very exciting news and I can't wait for them to come into effect 😁.

And now, for an update on the number of Chaos Legion packs sold thus far. About 83k sold since last week. Still not too bad. That is still quite an amazing sales figure! 😄

It seems that there was a huge spike in sales in the past week. Perhaps everyone is starting to "burn" their DEC early with the airdrops coming to an end in less than a month. At this rate, we could possibly see the NEXT Legendary Summoner airdrop as soon as next week! 😱
