Well this theme focuses on just that, meeting the person behind the avatar.
We are super excited for this episode, to welcome to the show, Splinterlands dev, and leader of the wild and modern coding, @cryptomancer
In the true flavour of the "behind the avatar" theme, cryptomancer shares his story, his background, and how he came to be a part of the Splinterlands dev team.
and of course, we just had to ask him some questions about the up and coming wild and modern battle changes.
and as is tradition on the show, we put mancer to the test, where he goes toe to toe against @giotrix in a live battle, that we do our usual breakdown, analysis, and predictions on, and @mattclarke shares an epic brawl, highlighting the importance of team structure.

There’s a lot I’d like to address from this episode, but per usual, I’m gonna have to watch it again to remember most of it.
Having said that, I'd like to start by saying how much of a relief it is to hear @cryptomancer plays in gold and diamond, despite holding more land than “ONLY Two Castles” @mattclarke can boast. Even though I got here for beta I still feel like I’m missing out at virtually every turn. It’s reassuring to see how much that, too, is a part of the game.
Next, mostly because the visual is blocking every other potential thought, I’d like to encourage @bobaphet to make t-shirts, stickers, fridge magnets, and dildos of the left/right testicles/dick analogy and color them in the colors of every nation. I can’t imagine a more fitting pairing than a big fat blue & red balled cock wrapped in the American flag. Maybe have crude oil dripping from the tip… even though a venomous green fluid would probably be more appropriate.
Anyway, what we’re we talking about?

My own sense of self importance demands I acknowledge this as a well organized conspiracy to humiliate one of America’s national treasures. I don’t know what I’m gonna do about it yet but I hope it’s big.

I thought he did it to expand his geographical knowledge by digging into the Splinterlands. Who could’ve imagined he’d have assassins? This is next level.

Haha, man you seriously crack me up, and I can't believe that you don't like Monty Python, as your wit is true to the British flavour of humour, with your own dark tinge. re: the t-shirts etc, I think I'll just wait for someone more entrepreneurial to watch the show and do all that, then use the blockchain record as proof of originality, then sue them for copyright. I think that your conspiracy regarding @aussieninja's strike is a bit far fetched, but on a side note, and completely unrelated, at what time exactly will you be re watching the show?

Actually, judging from recent events, I'd go as far as saying the narrative needs to be completely ridiculous to be believed 😷
