Giant roc - Splinterlands weekly battle challenge.

Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.

This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Giant roc in splinterlands weekly battle challenge.

Giant roc is a common fire monster of beta edition.

This monster has melee attack for what this monster can attack from the front position unless the battle has any special ruleset but it has a special ability in the 1st level that's called reach for what, this monster may attack from the second position on the team. And it has another special ability in the 1st level that's called flying for what, this monster has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the flying ability.

At first, Time mage of enemy monster team attacked Elven defender of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost one health.

Then Tower griffin of enemy monster team attacked Elven defender of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost one armor. Then Pelacor albarest of enemy monster team double attacked Elven defender of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost two armor and three health. Then Chaos knight of enemy monster team attacked Elven defender of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost two health. Then Djinn apprentice of friendly monster team attacked Chaos knight of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health. Then Lava spider of friendly monster team attacked Truthspeaker of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost one armor. Then Tenyii striker of friendly monster team attacked Pelacor arbalest of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two armor. Then Elven defender of friendly monster team attacked Chaos knight of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two armor. Then Stitch leech of enemy monster team attacked Furious chicken of friendly monster team and the friendly monster died on the spot. Then Giant roc of friendly monster team attacked Chaos knight of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost one armor.

Then Tower griffin of enemy monster team attacked Elven defender of friendly monster team and the friendly monster died on the spot. Then Chaos knight of enemy monster team attacked Elven defender of friendly monster team and missed. Then Djinn apprentice of friendly monster team attacked Chaos knight of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot. Then Lava spider of friendly monster team attacked Truthspeaker of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost one armor. Then Tenyii striker of friendly monster team attacked Pelacor arbalest of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot. Then Stitch leech of enemy monster team attacked Giant roc of friendly monster team and the friendly monster died on the spot.

Then Tower griffin of enemy monster team attacked Tenyii striker of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost two health. Then Djinn apprentice of friendly monster team attacked Stitch leech of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health. Then Lava spider of friendly monster team attacked Truthspeaker of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot. Then Time mage of enemy monster team attacked Tenyii striker of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost one health. Then Djinn apprentice of friendly monster team attacked Tower griffin of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost two health. Then Lava spider of friendly monster team attacked Time mage of enemy monster team and the enemy monster lost one health. Then Tenyii striker of friendly monster team attacked Tower griffin of enemy monster team and missed. Then Time mage of enemy monster team attacked Tenyii striker of friendly monster team and the friendly monster lost one more health. Then Djinn apprentice of friendly monster team attacked Tower griffin of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot. Then Lava spider of friendly monster team attacked Time mage of enemy monster team and missed. Then Tenyii striker of friendly monster team attacked Time mage of enemy monster team and the enemy monster died on the spot.

The battle ended in round 5 and Tenyii striker of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.

Elven Defender:

Elven Defender is a rare death monster that I've in level 3.

I used Elven Defender at the front position as it has big powers such as 2 melee attack, 2 speed, 4 shields, 9 Health in level 3.
It's an 8 mana monster.

Giant roc:

Giant roc is a common fire monster.

I used Giant roc at the second position as it's a melee attacker with reach ability and it has nice powers such as 1 melee attack, 2 speed, 4 Health in level 1.
It's an 5 mana monster.

Tenyii striker:

Tenyii striker is a rare fire monster.

I used Tenyii striker at that position as it's a melee attacker and we know that can attack only from the front position unless the battle has some special rule set but still I used this monster at that position because it has an ability called sneak which allows it to attack from any position and it has nice powers such as 2 melee attack, 2 speed, 6 health in level 1.
It's a 5 mana monster.

Djinn apprentice:

Djinn apprentice is a rare magic monster of fire splinter.

I used Djinn apprentice in that position as it's mainly a magic attacker that can attack from any position position so I used it in that place after I used other cards and it has 2 magic attack, 2 speed, 4 Health in level 1.
It's a 5 mana monster.

Lava spider:

Lava spider is a common ranged monster of fire splinter.

I used Lava spider at that position as it is a ranged monster that can't attack from the front position so I kept it away from that position and it has nice powers such as 1 ranged attack, 2 speed, 4 Health in level 1.
It's an 3 mana monster.

Furious Chicken:

Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.

I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low.

It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.

Battling procedure with Giant roc:
As I needed to do a battle with Giant roc so I had to play the battle using fire splinter as Giant roc is a monster from fire splinter.

From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.

This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.

Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.

You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.

Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.

As I had to play this battle with fire splinter to showcase the battle of Giant roc which is a monster from fire splinter, I chose my fire splinters summoner.

Then I chose the cards that I wanted in this battle.

There I chose Elven Defender, Giant roc, Tenyii striker, Djinn apprentice, Lava spider, Furious chicken.

• First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from this link.
• Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
  You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.
