Nightmare - Splinterlands Monster Review with a Battle.

Hey guyz,

Um back people with another blog post in HIVE.

This time I'm going to showcase one of my battle using Nightmare in splinterlands social media challenge.

Nightmare is a death monster that's of reward edition.
This monster has melee attack for which this monster can attack only from the first position unless the battle has some special rules and it has a special ability in the 1^st level that's called blast for what it's attack does additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster.

Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

For this challenge, you'll need to showcase a battle talking about the monsters that you use in the battle, about the battle or you may make any post that's related to splinterlands like you can draw something for splinterlands, you can review something of splinterlands etc.

The entry post should be shared on any social media and I'll use my twitter handle for that.

There should be a #splinterlands tag.
Then you should leave your post link and your social media link where you shared it as a comment in the official challenge post of @splinterlands.

Buying procedure of Nightmare card(s):

• First, you need to go to the market and then you'll need to find the card or you can go directly from this link.
• Then you'll need to find the best suitable cards for you.
  You can buy high-level cards or you can buy level 1 single cards and then you can combine them and you can upgrade the level.

Battling procedure with Nightmare :
As you'll need to battle with Nightmare so you'll be able to play the battle using death splinter as Nightmare is a death monster.

From the battle page, you need to click on the ranked battle button and you should wait for a little time.

This takes a little time to find a worthy opponent.
It might take a little longer sometimes and sometimes as it seems.

Then you'll see that you have an enemy waiting for you on the other side.

You can see everything about the battle here such as-
Rules of the battle, mana cap of the battle, splinters that can be used in the battle, the countdown time and you can check on your opponent too from here.

Click on the Make Team button.
Then you'll find a page with all your splinters that can be used in the battle.

As I need to play this battle with death splinter to showcase the battle of Nightmare as that's a death monster, I chose Zintar mortalis which is my death splinters summoner.

Then after I selected Nightmare as front monster, then I chose Prismatic energy and the Creeping ooze then Twisted jester and Furious chicken at last.

Nightmare:

Nightmare is a common death monster that I've in level 1.

I used Nightmare at the front position as it's a melee attacker with nice powers such as 1 melee attack, 4 speed, 10 Health in level 1.
It's an 8 mana monster.

PRISMATIC ENERGY:

PRISMATIC ENERGY is a rare neutral monster that I've in level 3.

I used PRISMATIC ENERGY at that position as it is a magic monster that can attack from anywhere and it has big powers such as 1 magic attack, 4 speed, 10 Health in level 3.
It's an 8 mana monster.

Creeping Ooze:

Creeping Ooze is a common neutral monster that I've in level 1.

I used Creeping Ooze at that position cause I wanted it to take the some damage for other monsters and as it has powers such as 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's an 1 mana monster.

TWISTED JESTER:

TWISTED JESTER is a rare death monster that I've in level 1.

I used TWISTED JESTER in that position as it's a ranged attacker that can't attack from the front position and it has nice powers such as 2 ranged attack, 3 speed, 4 Health in level 1.
It's an 4 mana monster.

Furious Chicken:

Furious Chicken is a rare neutral monster that I have in level 1.

I used Furious Chicken in that position as a bait so that it can get hits from enemies when other cards can do their things.
Besides I couldn't do anything better but using a monster with 0 mana as the mana cap of the battle was so low.

It has 1 speed, 1 Health in level 1.
It's a 0 mana monster.

In the battlefield:

At first, Nightmare of the friendly monster team attacked the front monster of enemy monster team and the second monster of enemy monster team lost its armor as well because of blast ability of Nightmare of the friendly monster team. This Nightmare showed its worth at the beginning. And then Prismatic energy and Twisted jester of the friendly monster team on after anther attacked the front monster of the enemy monster team and that enemy monster lost a lot of health till now. Then that front enemy monster attacked Nightmare of the friendly monster team.

Then another attack happened from Nightmare of the friendly monster team and then enemy monsters got weaker. Then Prismatic energy of friendly monster team attacked the front monster of enemy monster team and that enemy monster died. Then another enemy monster became the front monster and lost most of the health already when Twisted jester of friendly monster team attacked it. The after taking an attack, Nightmare of friendly monster team attacked the new front monster of the enemy monster team and that enemy monster died and then the next enemy monster lost its armor for blast. That enemy monster which died now, it tried to attack back with its ability but it missed it. Now the enemy monster teams could attack. It was interesting seeing all the melee attacker on the enemy monster team while only one could attack for sometimes.

Same thing happened as before, Nightmare of friendly monster team attacked the new front monster and it died while the next enemy monster lost its armor and then the last enemy monster became the front monster and it died also after getting some attacks.

The battle ended in round 4 and Twisted jester of the friendly monster team killed the last monster of the enemy monster team and there came victory.
