Hi Again!

This is the first challenge I have taken part in where I did not have the actual card for the challenge as this week it is the Giant Rock.

I decided instead to make it a challenge of going all in on my tank.

I get one attempt win or loss. My record before this is 1-1 in these battle challenges, read on to see what happens this time...

Let's Dive into the Battle.

• The ruleset

The moment I saw enrage with life splinter gone I got to thinking, this is truly a chance to have both a healer and repair with a tank that can potentially withstand a large amount of attacks.

Knowing both Fire and Death have many sneak, snipe, and opportunity users.

I knew that taunt would be essential as if a healer or repair user were to be wiped out I was likely going to lose. The life splinter has the perfect card, the SHIELDBEARER

With armor and high health the repair would work wonders along with health recovery!

Life Summoner

This choice to me was simple as I knew if I wanted damage output from anything else ranged would be essential. Therefore GENERAL SLOAN was perfect.

The total mana of the tank and summoner adding up to 12 leaving 13 extra mana to work with.

Now for the Repair and Healer card choices.

• Repair

Luckily for me, during the chaos legion release the neutral 3 cost repair SCAVO HIRELING was introduced.

This guy was a lost cost perfect option for my challenge and so he was added in. Now I had used 15 of my total 25 mana.

• Healer

Another card that had also been released alongside chaos legion as a reward card making this challenge truly possible for me is VENARI CRYSTALSMITH

Not only does she heal but she deals a nice 2 ranged damage when paired with sloan for just 4 mana at level 1!

My team total is now at 19 out of my total 25 mana and I need some more damage dealers if I am going to break through.

PELACOR ARBALEST

Once again another card that has been released in chaos legion. This one has quickly become one of mine and many others favourite cards. First off the artwork is amazing with the dual wield crossbow working perfectly with its card ability of double strike.

When paired with sloan's +1 ranges the Arbalest deals a whopping 6 damage which is not wasted in one hit if an enemy only has 1 health or 1 armour. This was exactly the damage output I was looking for to pair with my healer and tank.

At just 6 mana it was a match made in heaven and thus my team complete at 25 out of 25 mana used!

The opponent went with a fire team.

My main concern was would they have enough firepower to plow through my repair and healing on my tank. After the plus one melee buff they had a total of 13 melee damage coming my way.

Although that seems scary a key piece to this is damage to armour will not carry over to health, and you will see that this is part of the reason my Shieldbearer does so well.

Once I got through their tank they were not able to continuously put out the same level of damage and they could not withstand my Arbelest's ranged assault.

This is the type of battle I call a flawless victory, I did not lose a single card, and In a real war there would have been no casualties on my end besides a wounded tank.

This challenge was a ton of fun, I may try to do it again for another Share Your Battle Challenge that I don't have the card for.

My Record is now 2 wins and 1 loss in these challenges. 😊
