Rounies might not be the thing I'm most excited about, and that's ok not every splinterlands product needs to be made with me in mind, but I think the Roo-knees are going to be great marketing to Etherium NFT collectors.
I always liked how Mark Rosewater, lead designer of Magic the Gathering, always points out, if you make a card that everyone likes but no one loves, it's not a very good card. When he makes a card for a player that likes big, splashy, often inefficient spells, which he call's Johnny/Jenny, he makes it the most Johnny/Jenny card possible. When a card is made for Commander players, it's made with them soley in mind.
I absolutely love Chaos Legion and RW-- the Lore and Competitive spirit is what gives me drive. With his Player Psychometrics, I'd be considered a Vorthos/Spike. Just like in mtg, I'm glad that splinterlands is really focusing on making cards each player type can love and not cards everyone will like. Roonies are pretty cool in my book, even if they aren't for me. Runies do a great job of appealing to players who want one of a kind custom NFT's that they can truly own on a personal level-- it's not Yodin#128, it's one of a kind uniquely theirs.
NFT's are going to be big!!😀
These Rune-E's look so cool. Is there a specific RueKnee you're really hoping for?
Rune-E makes me think of Wall-E 🤣
