Splinterlands Guild Brawl and my Quora's Team Defeat

Hi there Splinternatics and HIVEees.. Another Guild Brawl was concluded and yeah I am a bit late sharing my Brawl experience. Having a real Life is really annoying while playing games right? Specially if you are experiencing hardships and trials and hindrance that cause some delays with playing games. That's just life. No need to think too deep about it.

I ended my brawl for this round with 7 wins and 2 losses. That is not that bad but still if I win all my matches is great and might help out ranking our guild higher so to gather more resources as rewards. Better luck next time. We haven't hit the first spot for few rounds now if I remember correctly. Those matches might be hard on us.

Placing 3rd in the Brawl Ranking for this time get our hands with 3750 merits and 27.425 SPS as a reward for the joining members with this brawl. With these rewards, i have accumulated enough merits to buy 10 Gladius cases. I accumulated this much because of the 30 Ultimate chests I opened last time.

And here are the cards came out from those Gladius cases.

Got my hands on few gold common Gladius cards and a Legendary for the Earth Splinters. I prefer having gold cards because those ones got a good amount of collecting power and if possible, I can join Gold foiled tournament requirements in the future. This is still a plan though. But still, its better to have your goal playing the game rather than just playing it blindly.

With those additional gladius cards collection, I reached 29K Collecting Power with just Gladius cards alone.
A Brawl Battle Sample

This is a sample battle of how I blindly beleived Quora Townshead can take win even against all odds. Well, you can't blame me for I experienced how brutally effective Quora is. Since I am in the Frontier Fray of the Brawl Battle, I chose Earth Splinter's Aurelia as my Summoner that boost an additional HP to all the summoned units. Great Druid Bear as my tank which I think is not that great but its dual attack convinced me to place it there and followed by Quora Townshead that is perfect, for me, sits in the 2nd place of my front team. Glam Root was placed third because of its Strenthen ability and that too many HP to its usage. Time Bandit, Alan Musketeer and Giant Roc completed my team. This battle is under the ruleset of Elite Force and Fire and Regret with 58 Mana capacity limit. Its a High mana battle and I am facing Water Splinters in this round. Let me point out what mistakes that I believed I made and resulted in my lost aside from believing too much with Quora Townshead. Fire and Regret was in the ruleset with this I should avoid placing too much Range attacking splinters in my team. Well, another thing is that is I really believed Quora will make a way to take the win.

Here is the key point where I was dominated by my enemies team. Its Relenor Clever Triggered multiple Bloodlust ability that easily executed my Quora Townshead in their battle. Even though I have the edge on card level and HP, I was still came short neglecting the ruleset and believing blindly on single card. Its really a bad lost for me this one.
- Having a good card does not always give you a great sense of security in securing victory in splinterlands. You should always consider the factors of rulesets, level and other things while forming your team.
