The deadly combo of scarred llama mage with hydra

Hello splinterlanders, i am glad that my last tips on how to have higher win rate on splinterlands got some reaction and a friend of mine also used it and it worked great for him as he was able to win the battles, here is a link to his post incase you want to check it out here and here is a link to my own tutorial post here

Today i will be talking about hydra a neutral card that is very good in only melee battles because of the amazing abilities given to it......It has healing, thorns, retaliate and trample.......*

Players often place the hydra at the last position during only melee can be used rule set, the reason is because of the thorn and retaliate ability that is dreadful to sneaky monsters, when they hit it, they suffer the thorn damage and there is high possibility that it may retaliate which makes it worse on those monsters attacking it and also the monsters beside them ain't safe either because of the trample ability..

It has been hydra being placed at the last position till scarred llama mage was introduced in the game, now people can easily use the combo of llama and hydra to wreck damage to the opponent that comes with many monsters and win easily..

Here is an example of a one on one fight between hydra and flesh golem using llama as a summoner...

Looking at the screenshot above, regardless of the level of the two cards, there is no way flesh golem would win hydra and the reason is because of the thorn and retaliate ability possessed by the hydra which will cause additional damage to the golem and as far as i have seen, the only melee monster capable of defeating the hydra in a one on one battle is the lord of the darkness and that is because of the card stun, retaliate and enrage ability

You can practice it, whenever you have a 14 mana rule and the earth splinter is available, just use llama and hydra and see magic!
