I wrote last week about some Brawls not feeling great from the outset and showed the results of that disastrous feeling with a losing record. This week was I had a similar feeling submitting my teams, but ended up with a drastically different result, my first undefeated Brawl! It was only three fights, but I won them all!

I didn't feel great going into the fights again because it was such an odd mix of available splinters, mana count and rulesets, but thankfully for me it appears it was equally odd for my opponents. Now that I have an undefeated Brawl checked off my gaol list, I have to shoot for a first in guild result 😀

Tarsa v Quix — I was nervous when I saw a level two Quix and a tough line up. Thankfully I forced my opponents ranged attack in front first. Win (1—0)

Kelya v Kelya — Battle of similar Kelyas. I was worried my opponents choice of Wave Brood would do me in, but my healing Xenith Monk ended up being the differenceWin (2—0)

Quix v Thaddius — I don't often choose Quix, but he was the perfect choice to cap off my undefeated Brawl! Bayne was just enough of a meat shield up front to protect Titan for the win. Win (3—0)

🥳🥳 **Much more fun to recap a winning record than last week's dismal effort. Hopefully this is the start of a trend ** 🥳🥳

Second place for the Calzones! Interestingly we scored less points than last week but had a better result. I noticed a much smaller level of participation across all guilds this week. Hopefully this was a rare blip and not a sign of lower participation to come. The merits won from this Brawl put me less than 200 away from another Gladius pack, so baring any unforeseen oddities, I should be able to share another Gladius pack opening next Brawl report!
