Every dog has its Day | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge [EN - DE]

Yesterday was finally the day and we were able to open our Riftwatchers packs. From the bulk purchase of Legendary Dragons, I had my 60 packs. Of course I couldn't wait and opened all the packs. I am very happy with the result, but everything in its own time.... After leveling up the cards, I have to decide whether to keep them or sell them. Some players are facing this decision and the market for the cards will change quickly in the next few days. So it will be exciting!

Gestern war es endlich soweit und wir konnten unsere Riftwatchers Packs öffnen. Aus dem Bulk-Kauf der Legendary Dragons hatte ich meine 60 Packs. Selbstverständlich konnte ich nicht warten und habe alle Packs aufgemacht. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich sehr zufrieden, aber alles zu seiner Zeit... Nach dem aufleveln der Karten muss ich entscheiden ob ich sie behalte oder verkaufe. Vor dieser Entscheidung stehen wohl derzeit einige Spieler und der Markt für die Karten wird sich in den nächsten Tagen wohl schnell verändern. Es wird also spannend!

Highlights

From the 60 packs I pulled a few Legendarys and some of the new Summoners. With the Summoners I could even bring Skargore and Fernheart to level 2. I'm glad about that, because I think these two summoners are quite usable. Unfortunately, it was not quite enough for the new Life Summoner, but I will probably buy the one card later. 1x Aquatus is a pity but okay, because I already have Kelya on level 4, that I have drawn Dallan only 2x is probably to get over.
With Sthispa I am not yet sure what to think of her. But since I already have 3 pieces, I will certainly buy BCX No. 4.

Aus den 60 Packs habe ich ein paar Legendarys und einige der neuen Summoner gezogen. Bei den Summonern konnte ich Skargore und Fernheart sogar auf Level 2 bringen. Darüber bin ich froh, denn ich denke diese Beiden Summoner sind ganz brauchbar. Leider hat es beim neuen Life Summoner noch nicht ganz gereicht, die eine Karte werde ich aber vermutlich nachkaufen. 1x Aquatus ist schade aber okay, da ich Kelya bereits auf Level 4 habe, dass ich Dallan nur 2x gezogen habe ist wohl zu verschmerzen.
Bei Sthispa bin ich noch nicht sicher was von ihr zu halten ist. Da ich aber schon 3 Stück habe, werde ich sicher noch BCX Nr. 4 dazukaufen.

For Legendarys, I drew Raa, Mordeus, and Runemancer Florre. Florre and Raa I find very cool, even if they have high mana costs. I think in fights over 40 mana they are quite useful. With Mordeus I am still unsure what to do. Since I haven't played much Fire so far, the Splinter isn't that well developed and I'm currently focusing on Water and Earth. Maybe I will sell the card.
Some will now say: "Captain only 3 Legendarys out of 60 packs is really meager!" and yes that is really not exhilarating.... but then:

Bei den Legendarys habe ich Raa, Mordeus und Runemancer Florre gezogen. Florre und Raa finde ich sehr cool, auch wenn sie hohe Manakosten haben. Ich denke in Kämpfen über 40 Mana sind sie durchaus zu gebrauchen. Bei Mordeus bin ich noch unsicher was ich machen soll. Da ich bisher wenig Fire gepsielt habe ist der Splinter bei mir nicht so gut ausgebaut und ich fokussiere mich aktuell auf Water und Earth. Vielleicht werde ich die Karte verkaufen.

Einige werden jetzt sagen: "Captain nur 3 Legendarys aus 60 Packs ist echt mager!" und ja das ist wirklich nicht berauschend....aber dann:

Here is my first Gold Foil Legendary! And with Raa a very good one. With this lucky grab, the 60 packs were definitely worth it, even without the airdrops. A GFL like that looks really nice and pulling it off was a great feeling.

Da ist meine erste Gold Foil Legendary! Und mit Raa gleich eine sehr Gute. Mit diesem Glücksgriff haben sich die 60 Packs schon jetzt ohne die Airdrops definitiv gelohnt. So eine GFL sieht echt nice aus und sie zu ziehen war ein tolles Gefühl.

Summary

As mentioned, I am now faced with the decision of what to do next. Some RW cards I could level, but I will still have to buy cards or packs. However, I will wait with it now. At the moment my deck still has big holes, so recently I decided to bring the Earth Splinter to silver. I took advantage of the low prices and brought Obsidian to level 4. In Brawls I often play one of the CL Frays at the moment and in Ranked I only play Modern.

I have decided to sell my GFL, the current market price is a little over $100. As much as I would like to keep the card, that $100 move the needle so much more than this single Card. For this reason, I have also decided to sell other Riftwatchers Gold Foils as well.

I had been thinking for a long time whether I should buy packs at all or not. I'm glad I went along with our guild bulk purchase. The packs bring me a big step further.
Currently, from my point of view, is a good time to get into the game. There is a lot of movement and the meta will definitely change a bit with the new cards.

Wie erwähnt stehe ich nun vor der Entscheidung was ich weiter machen soll. Einige RW-Karten konnte ich leveln, aber ich werde noch Karten oder Packs nachkaufen müssen. Allerdings werde ich damit jetzt noch warten. Im Moment hat mein Deck noch grosse Löcher, vor kurzem habe ich deshalb beschlossen den Earth-Splinter auf Silber zu bringen. Ich habe die tiefen Preise genutzt und mir Obsidian auf Level 4 gebracht. In den Brawls spiele ich im Moment oft einen der CL Frays und in Ranked eigentlich nur Modern.

Ich habe entschieden meine GFL zu verkaufen, der aktuelle Marktpreis liegt bei etwas über 100 $. So gerne ich die Karte auch behalten würde, diese 100 $ bringen mir in Einzelkarten aus dem CL Set so viel mehr als in dieser einen Karten gebunden. Aus diesem Grund habe ich auch entschieden, weitere Riftwatchers Gold Foils ebenfalls zu verkaufen.

Ich hatte lange überlegt, ob ich überhaupt Packs kaufen sollte oder nicht. Ich bin froh hab ich bei unserem Gilde-Sammel-Kauf mitgemacht. Die Packs bringen mich einen grossen Schritt weiter. Aktuell ist aus meiner Sicht ein guter Zeitpunkt um ins Spiel einzusteigen. Es ist viel Bewegung da und die Meta wird sich bestimmt etwas ändern mit den neuen Karten.
