This is my splinterlands weekly battle submission with the Theme- MELEE MYTHEM

It has been a long time since I made any post with Melee MYTHEM . Actually I was curious to use MYLORE CROWLING during Melee storm battle ruleset. Finally get a chance when my opponent BECY1307 was ready to hand . Before battle I check opponent recently played team then I found that he is battling maximum battle with Lyanna Natura there was pretty good Melee monster in his card wallet. I heard that he will come with Melee Monsters. That's when I started making plans for my move. For which I chose my summnoer Mylore Crowling to use it's THORN ability very well. That will going to very effective in Melee Mythem battle ruleset. Now the need to implement the card in the right way with perfect placing. It was pretty good Mana battle game so there was plenty of flexibility to choose 1 or two high Monsters. I also planned to reduce Melee attack of opponent so I placed Two monsters having DEMORALIZE ability in the form of LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR and DISINTEGRATER . Now I was fully ready to face Melee army of opponent.

No doubt I was going to use MYLORE CROWLING as my Summnoer to Thorn opponent's Monsters. It is a costly summnoer having such unique ability. Its market value is high and one have to spend almost $32 to have one level summnoer.

It was 48 Mana battle game in which two rules were appliedin the form of HOLY PROTECTION and MELEE MYTHEM . Melee MYTHEM is my favourite battle ruleset.

■ HOLY PROTECTION

It means the first attack will be ignored by the Monsters of both team.
■ MELEE MYTHEM
It means Melee monster can perform from any position.

TEAM SELECTION AND PLACING

It was 48 Mana battle game and battle rule set that was according to my choice. I was ready to choose some high Mana monster. I was here with the combination of 3 Melee Monsters in the form of LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR, DISINTEGRATER and GRUND. Beside it 1 Magic attack monster as DOCTOR BLIGHT, one Range attack monster as CORNEALUS and one master without attack in the form of LORD ARIANTHUS Wanted to make Lord Arianthus more effective, so I chose two Monsters with DEMORALIZE ability…

This is my most favourite one traditional Neutral legendary monster that I use often in low mana battle game. In others world you can say that it is durable card due to its Void, shield, magic reflect and Thorn ability. One melee and range attack monster be enough to increase the the concern of the opponent's head. It is use as a monster without attack but its utility is great. I placed it at first position so that I can attract low Mana card for attack and thorn them.

LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR

It is one of the most useful Neutral Legendary monster from Chaos Legion unit. This monster comes with 9 armour and Void ARMOUR that always help this monster for long lasting. I was ready for Melee attack of opponent so I placed it on second position to reduce the impact of blast ability. DEMORALIZE ability to provide extra protection for the fellow Monsters from Melee Monsters. Really it is wonderful monster from Chaos Legion Edition.. out of them I like its Giant killer and Deathblow ability very much. overall this is the perfect monster with maximum ability.

DISINTEGRATER

This Neutral Common monster This Neutral Common monster from Chaos Legion edition known for demoralize* ability from the first level. I put this monster deliberately to reduce the impact of opponent's Melee attack. Like above monster this is also provide maximum ability like DEMORALIZE, Trample, Knock out and Retaliate. The main profit of this monster is that one can use it with any splinter. You can see in this battle that the role of this monster was great for this battle.

GRUND

This is is one of the most useful Epic monster from Earth Splinter having Double Strike ability. this monster always attracts the player due to its pretty good health and Melee attack. It is Chaos Legion Edition Monster. Although I have some doubt taking its attack ability because three time it missed it's target but I am sure that when we upgrade this monster then we can use its utility very well. By the way there is some good monster from Chaos legion edition and Grund is one of them.

CORNEALUS

My strong faith always goes with Neutral Monsters. You can see that despite using EARTH splinter, I was battling with 5 Neutral Monsters. Now you can understand the importance of neutral monster in any battle. I placed it at number five, so that I can resist opponent for long time due to its HEAL ability. This is my favourite one legendary monster and I mostly use it when I be against YODIN Zaku. It's Returned fire always be fatal for a Range Monsters. THORN and Magic Reflect add more below inside this monster.

DOCTOR BLIGHT

This is one of the the most trending Legendary monster . Recently it was revealed in in the form of AirDrop in Chaos legion Edition. No need to brief describe about its ability I have already seen so many players getting into frustration due to plenty use of this monster. To be honest, only the Blast Ability Monster can effect this, no one else. Being a Neutral Monster it is everyone's favourite Monster. This monster starts with Affiliation ability and ends with Camouflage, Poison, Scavenger and Weaken ability. OMG , 4 level Monster and so many abilities Really amazing. Hip hip hurray..

DID MY STRATEGY WORKED WELL? WILL I TRY DIFFERENTLY IN NEXT TIME?

No doubt we have to change each our plan according to battle ruleset. For this battle my plan was perfect to Thorn opponent due to Melee MYTHEM battle ruleset. For that I taken support from Neutral monster to increase armour of fellow Monsters and reduce the Melee attack of the opponent by Demoralize You can see the battle that it was MYLORE CROWLING'S THORN save me from the defeat otherwise it was a sure defeat in front of massive attack of opponent. The sharp Melee attack and speed of the opposition team did not give a chance to my team for breathe. Finally I want this battle because of Dr blades scavenger ability.

DO YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH MELEE MYTHEM RULESET? WHY OR WHY NOT?

I think every person has their own opinion according to battle rule set and it depends on the availability of the Monsters in card wallet. In case of me, definitely I feel comfortable with Melee MYTHEM battle ruleset. Now and days players became very smart and they hardly come with Melee attack moster during Melee Mythem battle rule set. As an exception, there are some players who have Melee attack increasing Summnoer, so they come with that otherwise people give priority to Magic attack.
