After my first post I was asked by @lovesniper and @indayclara to do an introduction post to let people get to know me a little bit and to cover my intention on what I am going to be doing on Splintertalk. Soooo, lets dive in!

Education and Sports

The most important thing in my life for a long time was being a swimmer. I started at the age of five, swam in high school, swam in college, and still love the sport today even though I know longer compete. It enabled me to meet so many people and see so many places. As far as my education goes, I graduated with a double major in computer science and mathematics in 2020. In a world post-graduation I have picked up disc golfing to continue getting in some light competition as well as some light activity from time to time.

How I got into Splinterlands

I have recently became fascinated with investments of all kinds including stocls, cryptocurrency, and NFTs. When I was told about this game by a family member I immediately went home to check it out, and after my first experience I was on the fence on if Splinterlands would be for me. I am a Magic the Gathering enthusiast and I love the ins and outs of all the interactions of the game and I was worried about the fact that all matches were predetermined from start to finish. About two weeks later I decided to give it a shot and but my summoner's spellbook. Since making that purchase I have been pleasantly surprised that Splinterlands is much more fun than I had originally expected.

Content I Like to See

As far as what I like to read about when I am here, it is quite varied. Mainly, I like to read strategy on how to rank faster, how to rent cards in a cost effective way, and other things of the sorts. As a general sum it up, I want to know as much about Splinterlands as possible so that I can play it as efficiently as possible.

My Content

I plan to post every Sunday about my journey as a free-to-play player in Splinterlands. This includes advancing up through leagues, and the financial side of how much I make as a F2P person in Splinterlands. While that is my main plan here on Splintertalk if I am feeling really ambitious some weeks I will be posting on Wednesdays, but those will most likely not be a regular thing.
