The Kraken Is My Favorite Tank

It was the Untamed series that unleashed a bunch of Super Tanks on us. Prior to that, the tanks were pretty mild like the Sea Monster or Goblin Mech.

These early tanks are no match for the Untamed ones like The Kraken, Magnor and Kron The Undying.

Among the three, the one that I use most often is probably The Kraken. Why is it so good? First of all, it has 14 health and 3 shield that the opponent has to go through because of its Taunt ability.

Its 4 melee attack provides a good compliment to the magic damage from the rest of the water splinter. Also, its 4 speed makes it quite fast and able to evade melee and range attacks from slow monsters.

In this battle, I thought it was a loser given the void ability of my opponent's Oshannus and Torhilo. But if you see the replay , The Kraken held the line for very long, so much so that the magic attackers in my lineup were able to eat away at the void ability.

Give it some double healing with the Crustacean and Albatross (level 6) plus shield boost from a Venari Wavesmith and I think it is probably unbeatable at the Gold league.
