What is BLOODLUST?

Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats

In the Reverse Speed ruleset, -1 to Speed

Why am I talking about it now?

  • They have just introduce BLOODLUST into the ranked battle.
  • That means we gonna see a growing monster if we dont deal with it fast, like a BACTERIA!

Who have has BLOODLUST ?

He is the only one as this moment.

Let's analysis this monster.

  • VOID armor - Fire deck weakness has to be MAGIC, but with the introduction with GRUM, we will be expecting to see him more often during those MAGIC fights.

    • We can add armor repair to increase his survivability

  • BLOODLUST - Plus 1 to stats when he got the killing blow, that includes ARMOR +1.

  • His drawback will be his speed, thus TRUE STRIKE and REVERSE SPEED he will not have an ISSUE.

Can we counter BLOODLUST?

Yes we should be possible. We can use DISPEL it!
I will try it when opportunity raises.

DISPEL has always been a skill that seldom people take notice of. Maybe it's time for the skill to be utilize again?

Nevertheless, to counter GRUM, maybe getting a high SPEED monster will be a good way to counter him as if he can't land a hit he cant activate BLOODLUST.

In conclusion

Bringing BLOODLUST to ranked battle indeed bring CHAOS to SPLINTERLANDS. Living up to the pack name. This new additional definitely adds any layer to the gameplay and we shall see how it pans out.
