Some homemade hash I made!
Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share some homemade hash I made:
Final Product
The Process
First I gave the shake an ice water bath. This incudes submerging the material in water, and adding ice. Then, you shake the container to knock off all the brittle, cold tricombs.
I filtered the water a few times (to get the plant matter out) before running the mixture through a coffee filter. Once filtered, I dried out the product and voila! We have homemade hash.

That's actually pretty fucking cleaver! So what did you filter the plant matter out with before the coffee filter?
What do you do with the water? Drink it?

Run it through a coffee filter, and let the residue dry out over a day or two. You can also use a microwave/oven to speed the process, but that would decrease the THC yield.
What i am asking is if you save the water which you used to rinse. i would think it must be good for something?

Ah I see. The weed was not decarbed first, so eating it wont get you high. Additionally, THC is not water soluble.
So unfortunately, theres not much to use the water for. However, it may taste kinda good 😋
