Hola bloggers, hoy les vengo a mostrar esta pieza de ilustración de personaje que hice para el reto de @splinterlands esta semana. Recreando una de las cartas que más llama mi atención que es: SCAVO FIREBOLT. Acompáñame para mostrarte cómo fue el proceso creativo para hacerlo y como me diverti haciendolo.

This time, I decided to do the sketch digitally. Although personally I love to do it traditionally. I feel more freedom for some strange reason. I chose this card because since I know splinterlands has caught my attention, it must be that; although it is small, this character seems to have great power and excellent performance in battle. I hope to discover it little by little since I'm still learning the game.

Por esta vez, decidí hacer el boceto digitalmente. Aunque personalmente me encanta hacerlo tradicionalmente. Siento más libertad por alguna extraña razón. Elegí esta carta porque desde que conozco splinterlands ha llamado mi atención, debe ser que; aunque es pequeño, este personaje parece tener un gran poder y excelente desempeño en batalla. Espero ir descubriendolo poco a poco ya que aun estoy aprendiendo del juego.

Ok, in the process of the base color and main outline the most difficult challenge was his hands, because I wanted it to look like the original character XD but it seemed to me very tetric, so I changed my mind XD. (a curious fact is that when I do semi-realistic drawings I activate the outline just to see if it's looking like the main idea and again I hide it).

Ok, en el proceso del color base y delineado principal el reto más difícil fueron sus manos, pues yo quería que se viera como las del personaje original XD pero me pareció muy tetrico, asi que enseguida cambie de opinion XD. (un dato curioso es que cuando hago dibujos semi-realistas activo en delineado solo para ver si esta quedando como la idea principal y nuevamente lo oculto).

For the main accessories like his glasses, I wanted to keep them as similar as possible so I only changed one or two details. As for the fireball, I went through a few ideas until I settled on this one. It was an important element of the illustration.

Para los accesorios principales como sus lentes, quise mantenerlos lo más parecidos que se pudiera asi que solo cambie uno que otro detalle. Por su parte en la bola de fuego pase por algunas ideas hasta quedarme con esta. Pues era un elemento importante de la ilustración.

For the background scenery I chose a night forest. To hint that he is on the outskirts, either about to start a battle or protecting his own. I really enjoyed making this representation of the character. Mainly because I love a day or two out of my editorial drawing style, and enjoy other different aesthetics. I'm very happy with the result.

Para el escenario de fondo elegí un bosque nocturno. Para dar alusión que está en las afueras, ya sea a punto de empezar una batalla o bien protegiendo a los suyos. Disfruté mucho haciendo esta representación del personaje. Principalmente porque me encanta uno que otro dia salir de mi estilo de dibujo editorial, y disfrutar otras estéticas diferentes. estoy muy contento con el resultado.
