When Steemit changed, I follow my fellows splinterlanders to Hive and I lay low without activities but playing the game. 4 Moon ago, April 2021, I want to get back on the track so I start to check all my wallet in steemit and hive. A friend calls and told me to delegate the sitting HP in my hive account to him and I did. I went back to steemit and help my friends to guide the newbies. I did but still feel that's something not right in my mind. I need to go back to Hive Community and I'm glad I did. Those who was once a newbie already become a dolphin and orcas whilst I'm just a minnow.
I went back to my old community, Splinterlanders. I collect many reward cards and it sits in the dust for years because I don't know what to do with it. Then, suddenly I read about splintershards and many new features in-game. I, who was once an ignorant to my wallet and assets, now I think about a plan to take advantage of the game to start saving for my long long dream destination, register for a pilgrim to Mekkah (My last obligation as a muslim). July 26th, I decided to learn and create wallet on other chains. I created Trust Wallet, Binance Smart Chain Wallet, Toko Crypto wallet (P2P with Binance) under the guidance of the new friends I met that night. They taught me well, at least I can get myself familiar with it on the next few days.
Yes, I'm preparing to fulfill my ultimate dream, Going to Hajj with money I get from splinterlands, especially SPS. While nurturing my new hobby (claiming sps), I also use the rental market to rent out my cards through peakmonsters.com and in-game rental market system. I get 260 DEC per-day as my passive income. I cash out my first SPS airdrops and then use it to learn how to do withdrawal, transfer, convert, pairing and whatever I want to know about the wallet and its function. I don't have the urge to use it for my daily needs, not yet.
I keep the DEC I earned from the game and almost never use it except for joint purchase some plots (lands) or packs, and pay the guild contribution. Ever since I learn about the wallet, I finally learn how to sell DEC for swap.hive in Hive-engine market and then withdrawn it to my hive wallet or swap it on beeswap.dcity.io. All this time, I just stake whatever tokens I have in there because I have no idea what to do with it except stake and stake. Glad that I staked some LEO's so I have enough Leo Power to hang around.
From an Ignorant blogger and player, I become a frequent user of Hive Engine market now. I Learn how to send hive to binance and buy other stable coin. I learn how to send Hive to [Toko Crypto](https://www.tokocrypto.com/markets) and buy another coin before I convert to BIDR (Indonesian Currency) then withdraw it to my bank account. Ahh, I learn how to open a new bank account through the mobile apps too. LOL, Where have I been all this time?
I still need to learn about many things. I tried to connect my empty metamask wallet (not verified because I don't know how, lol) to Leo Wallet, didn't make it though. I will read more information before I retry.
I will use this to fulfill my dream and it's gonna be a wonderful story to tell to my family
I have put tribaldex, leodex, cubDeFi, pancakeswap and metamask on my list to learn how to use it, later.

yes and yes, You know better than me about crypto anyway, I never have a guts to try all this time, but there's no escape if when I choose to play the game as my second hobby

You know I have never signed in? I've been gifted cards in the past and I seriously have no idea how to see them.
I think you've even personally helped me but I obviously got into doing something else instead.
you don't have to buy a spellbook to login, go to https://splinterlands.com @dandays, just use your hive account and posting key, go to collection and see your cards, and if you want to see where the airdrops is, check on sps managemet, on the left side of your profile

Well yeah of course but I have no idea what I'm looking at. I'm pretty sure ColonelJethro gave me on of those cards and I think SiveHead gave me the other but he's been gone a long time.
those cards are alpha epic (mermaid)and rare edition(jester) , both are the most important cards on battle field, you can see how much its estimated price if you want to sell it.
I don't mind buying it from you though🤭 I'll take care of them for you

if you click on the cards you will see some additional information about them, what's their name, edition, level/bcx, estimated value, dec value.
you can try to click on the "for rent" or for sale to see how much the price of a lvl 1 cards like yours on the market.
i forgot to snap some pics, but if you're on mobile, just view in landscape and you'll see it.

the estimate value in the market $7.9 and its dec value is 120 (you can burn it for 120 dark energy crystal, game's currency) and I hope you're not too silly to burn it🤣

if you want to change the skin (how its looks) you need to buy a new skin for them.
1 bcx mean 1 piece of card, level 1 means level 1, you need more same kinda cards to level up to gain more ability in the battlefield.
card id means card production number.
the white check box, it's useful when you want to do something with the cards.
for example:
check it to send out, you'll se the arrow on the up left, the ++ using for combined the cards. the next tab to the arrow is to sell or to rent, then the double arrow to lend it to other account/player, the last one is to burn it for dec.
How cool. I have no idea what they are and this is the first time I've seen them. They actually hold value. I'm not harming the game or anything by holding them am I?
you are not, but you can make a little money by put them on the rental market, so other player can use it..and you get something daily😉
