About 2 weeks ago I finished the series of the best "Rare and Legendary" summoner pairs that exist in the game, a post that allowed me to analyze in depth each splinter and their best weapons to fight according to their game stats, but, something that I have not analyzed even though I have been quite active playing in the "Guild Wars", are the cards of the "Gladius" edition, which, many of them are quite powerful and useful in the battlefield, giving me their support to win countless battles and maintain in some way the positive record I have, also, I have also given important tips that have much value, to succeed in fights against other guilds, so, if by chance you could not read it, by clicking Here you will be able to do it.

That is why, this time I will be analyzing in detail the best cards of the "Gladius" edition for the "Splinter of Life", which, is one of the best teams I have used to face the guild war, where, later I will explain why it is one of my favorites and also one of the ones I use the most for these battles, on the other hand, I must clarify that, this new series of post that will cover the best cards of the "Gladius" edition, will not have any specific order with respect to the equipment, also, what I will comment, is only my opinion according to the experience I've had playing in this battle mode, so if you know other cards that have served you of this edition and by chance I did not mention them in this publication, you can leave it in the comments.

If you want to know which are the best "Life Splinter" cards and where they can work best, stay tuned to this post and be sure to read it in its entirety so you can take advantage of it:

The best "Splinter of Life" cards for "Gladius" edition

Before starting and explaining the corresponding cards, I will briefly detail how I will do it, or how will be the structure I will use to do it, in this sense, the first thing I will do is detail the card in general with its statistics, on the other hand, I will talk about in which battle rules can be beneficial to use it, so, with this information is more than enough for you to make a well informed decision on how to use the card and under what conditions. Having clarified this, let's begin:

Captain Katie

Captain Katie is a fabulous card with a quite striking design, although simple, but quite well done, on the other hand, something I've noticed, is that, although its name says "Captain", it really does not look like one, since its clothing makes it seem that it was a kind of peasant with some kind of quite powerful magic power, since, at its base level has +3 points of magic attack power, with a speed of +2 points and 6 points of life quite good that makes it a resistant card and with the ability to withstand a few rounds accounts. Now, at its maximum level, which is 8 for being a "Rare" card, +5 points of magic power, +4 points of speed and +7 vital points, something that exponentially increases its usefulness and attack power.

Abilities:

The first ability that we can observe is the famous "Snipe" , which is very good, since it focuses on attacking cards that do not have any type of attack, or those whose attack types are ranged or magic, the best of all happens with its 2nd ability, which all "Gladius" cards have, being the powerful "Bloodlust" which, conveniently makes a very good synergy with "Snipe", I don't have to say what exactly "Bloodlust" does, but, having a magic attack type and having the cards with the characteristics exposed above, it is very simple to deduce that, its ability "Bloodlust" is activated in a very easy way if we use it correctly.

Last but not least, we have her 3rd ability, which she obtains at level 6, this is the great protection of the "Divine Shield" , making her immune to all types of damage on the 1st attack she receives, which can be very useful giving her an additional layer of defense, although, if combined with other cards, "Captain Katie" can be made even stronger by fortifying her defense by obtaining shield points.

Favorable rule sets

  • Target Practice: Although this is a rule that can lead to a higher risk for "Captain Katie", it is excellent for her to raise her stats quickly with her "Bloodlust" ability, since, by all gaining the "Snipe" ability, having a target on the opposing team would be much easier, of course, if they play the cards required for "Snipe" to activate.

  • Equal Opportunity: This is one of the best rules where you can play "Captain Katie", since, gaining the ability called "Opportunity", allows you to attack the enemy's cards with the least amount of vital points, which is quite convenient for this card, since activating the "Bloodlust" will be very easy.

  • Explosive Weaponry: Another rule where I personally would use "Captain Katie", would definitely be "Explosive Weaponry", since, by all getting the "Blast" ability, this card could hit up to 3 cards and activate faster its "Bloodlust", where, in fact, it could make several chain kills and have triple the power, although, it also carries risks.

Note: Some cards to combine with "Captain Katie", would be those that have the ability of "Reflection Shield", in case we use it in "Explosive Weaponry", since, protecting it from the adjacent damage caused by "Blast" of the enemy. It would also be good to accompany it with a decoy card, in order not to be an easy target in "Opportunity".

Marisol Contuma

Marisol Contuma at first sight is an impressive card, I like its design more than "Captain Katie", since it is a tougher design, being a kind of "Medieval Knight", with a great physical strength, its attack type is "Melee", besides, it is a card of "Epic" rarity, so it is more complicated to be released in the packs of that edition, but, if by chance you get it, worry about leveling it up as much as you can.

On the other hand, talking about his strengths and stats, in his lowest level as I already mentioned, he has an incredible physical strength that leads him to have +4 melee attack points, on the other hand, he has an incredible speed for the armor he has, being a total of +5 points, now, due to his armor, this has an incredible defense of +4 shield points and a very good +8 vital points. Now, at its highest level it does not get big changes, everything remains the same, except for its attack points, which rise to +6 points; and its life points that increase only +1 points giving a total of +9 points.

Abilities:

The abilities of this card are extremely good and it is much more versatile than "Captain Katie" itself, but, let's start from the beginning, so, to begin, this card has the ability called "Reach" , which allows you to attack from the 2nd position on the battlefield to the tank in turn that my opponent has, of course, this ability is accompanied by "Bloodlust" , which is a little more complicated to activate it, but, playing it correctly, it becomes a very complicated monster to defeat. Still, at its level 4 it gets much better, as it gains the "Ispire" ability , granting all monsters on its side of the field +1 melee attack point.

In addition to this, in its level 6, the card gains an ability that makes a great synergy with the ability "Reach", this ability is called "Trample" , which allows that, when this card defeats a monster of the enemy, it will immediately perform a 2nd attack to the monster of our opponent's team, so, it would be 2 attacks in a single turn, cool right? So, taking into account all this combination of skills, makes "Marisol Contuma", an excellent card to take into account for the "Vida" team, in fact, according to my experience, not even the legendary card of this team in this edition, are as good and useful as "Marisol Contuma", of course, knowing in which conditions to play it, which is what happens to come next.

Favorable rule sets

  • Stampede: This battle rule is essential to play with "Marisol Contuma" as long as we have it at the maximum level where it gets its "Trample" ability, because, what "Stampede" does is that, as long as this card defeats every enemy in front of it, it can attack the next one immediately without any kind of limit, so, if or if, we must place it in 2nd position with these conditions.

  • Equal Opportunity: This rule is essential to play with "Marisol", even from its lowest level, since, having the opportunity to attack from any position to the weakest card, our card will undoubtedly have the advantage, which will help you to raise all your stats when defeating an enemy card thanks to "Bloodlust".

  • Fog of War: This is another great battle rule where we can use "Marisol Contuma" to help us, since, as practically all melee attacking abilities are eliminated in the battle, Marisol with her "Reach" ability can still make a difference in the field, and it would be like a kind of "Sub-tank".

  • Weak Magic: A risky battle rule for melee monsters, but, it can work very well for "Marisol Contuma", since, her shield points allow her to receive the impact instead of her life points, moreover, it can be boosted if we play a card with the "Repair" ability and recover "Marisol's" vital points.

Note: There are other very obvious rule sets where it can be played, but, I will not mention them, since at the end of this publication I will leave you a small task. On the other hand, Marisol Contuma works very well with support cards that have the ability to "Repair, Triage and even Tank Heal", if it reaches the first position which is most likely, since, in most cases, it should be our 2nd card on the battlefield.

Conclusion

With this explanation I have reached the end of this post in its 1st part, where I focus on highlighting the strongest and my favorite cards of the powerful edition of "Gladius", sincerely in my opinion, are the strongest, if I am aware that other cards could be useful, but not as versatile as this pair, so, very attentive, I hope you read the entire post to learn in what conditions to play it and what are their statistics, in addition, I intend to leave a kind of task, especially for new users, which must answer the following:

What are the other favorable rule sets for playing with "Marisol Contuma"?

All those who answer correctly will be rewarded with the official token of "Kingdom of Glory (KOG), so they can take advantage and get some early.

Without further reference, until the next "Splinterlords".
