Once each kingdom had been established, life in each place was peaceful, although all were in expectation because they did not know how the Lord of Darkness could proceed. However, in each of them there was autonomy and no proven alliance, in the fire realm they grew stronger every day through fighting each other, the sea realm fostered life, while where Lyanna was they loved peace and nature. The only place where uncertainty had much weight was in the realm of light, Peakrider could not be totally at ease, he knew his enemy very well, and within himself he was preparing for battle. In the midst of all the wisdom that emanated in his kingdom, he decided to send 4 scouts to the lands of Mortus where the dark king lived, so that they would bring him news of what was happening in that place.

The one chosen for this mission was Silvershield Assassin, who would command the task, and in turn would be accompanied by two Silvershield Archers (Bowmen and Mara), and finally for the transfer, Portal Spinner, who with his ability to create portals would be in charge of creating routes of exits and entrances.

The 4 explorers set out for the dark lands, the easiest route to get there was through the Evergreen Hills, a place that connected both kingdoms, but had hidden passages where they could access, when they got there they noticed many changes in the place. For Assassin this was very strange because previously it was not like that, but in the end he assumed that it could be an effect of the Stone of rebirth.

They continued advancing, and glimpsed certain dark presences in the distance, so they decided to take another route and avoid confrontation, one of the priorities was not to be seen at any time, Peakrider emphasized the importance of coming and going without being noticed, because he did not want to be the one who started a new war.

When they entered Mortus' lands they did it through a portal that Spinner created in a hidden place, from there they were in enemy territory, so they kept alert at all times, Bowmen and Mara spotted enemies in the distance, but Spinner remained distant, focused on escaping when necessary. Assassin's skills were notorious, he could guide them without being seen, the deeper they went the more danger they found themselves in, although they didn't know it, everything was very quiet for such a dangerous realm.

Spinner suggested that they should go back, and give new that there was nothing strange, there were no plans or anything like that, but Assassin preferred to move a little further, however he asked Spinner to have a portal ready.

"How far can you move us back?" asked Bowmen.

Spinner indicated that near the entrance, he had arranged a strategic place to get out as quickly as possible without being discovered. On that basis they continued moving forward taking extreme care not to be discovered.

Meanwhile in the chambers of Lord of Darkness, Boogeyman was with Jarlax and the emperor of evil, Boogeyman with his ability had already seen the invaders and was waiting for orders, but to his surprise he was instructed to do nothing.

"Shall we leave them unpunished my Lord?" he asked.

Lord of Darkness told them, "Let us observe them, many do not know the face that hides behind Peakrider's mask, I do. Peakrider is a bloodthirsty, he loves wars more than anyone else, but he hides under a mask hypocritically."

At such a statement Jarlax smiled while the owner of the 1000 eyes was surprised, he didn't know what to say, but kept using his power so they could observe.

"We will use this infiltration against them" said Lord of Darkness while he smiled, after that he indicated them to go out and be attentive, for him they would not make a crazy attack with only 4 infiltrators, it seemed to him more like an inspection mission, and with that he had guessed right.

After they left, orders were given to the whole kingdom not to do anything, just to stay as if nothing was happening, but if they were attacked they were free to defend themselves.

Silver Assassin went into a room by mistake, but quickly came out when he felt a strong presence in that place, once he did he told Spinner to create a portal to return. When they did so, they were happy for the success of the mission and returned to the palace where Peakrider was.

In front of him they prostrated themselves and then proceeded to give the mission report, when they did so Peakrider heard them and dismissed them in peace. Even so, the intrigue did not leave him, something was not right, but there was nothing he could do, just wait and be alert to any movement of his adversary.

Capitulo 8

Una vez cada reino se había establecido, la vida en cada lugar era pacifica, aunque todos estaban a la expectativa porque no sabían cómo podía proceder Lord of Darkness. Sin embargo, en cada uno de ellos había autonomía y ninguna alianza probada, en el reino de fuego se fortalecían cada día a traves de combates entre sí, el reino marino fomentaba la vida, mientras que donde estaba Lyanna amaban la paz y la naturaleza. El único lugar donde la incertidumbre tenía mucho peso era en el reino de la luz, Peakrider no podía estar totalmente tranquilo, conocía muy bien a su enemigo, y dentro de si se preparaba para la batalla. En medio de toda la sabiduría que se emanaba en su reino, decidió enviar a 4 exploradores a las tierras de Mortus donde habitaba el rey sombrío, de manera que le trajeran nuevas de lo que estaba sucediendo en aquel lugar.

La elegida para esta misión fue Silvershield Assassin, quien comandaría la tarea, y a su vez seria acompañada por dos Silvershield Archers (Bowmen y Mara), y por ultimo para el traslado Portal Spinner, quien con su habilidad de crear portales sería el encargado de crear rutas de salidas y entradas.

Los 4 exploradores partieron hacia las tierras oscuras, la ruta más fácil de llegar allí era por las colinas Evergreen, un lugar que conectaba ambos reinos, pero que tenía pasadizos ocultos por donde podían acceder, cuando llegaron allí notaron muchos cambios en el lugar. Para Assassin esto era muy extraño pues anteriormente no era asi, pero al final asumió que podría ser un efecto de la Piedra del renacimiento.

Continuaron avanzando, y vislumbraron ciertas presencias oscuras a lo lejos, por lo que decidieron tomar otra ruta y evadir la confrontación, una de las prioridades era no ser vistos en ningún momento, Peakrider enfatizo la importancia de ir y venir sin que los notaran, pues no quería ser el quien iniciara una nueva guerra.

Cuando ingresaron a las tierras de Mortus lo hicieron por medio de un portal que Spinner creo en un lugar oculto, a partir de allí estaban en territorio enemigo, por lo que se mantenían alertas en todo momento, Bowmen y Mara divisaban enemigos a lo lejos, pero Spinner se mantenía distante, enfocado en escapar cuando fuere necesario. Las habilidades de Assassin eran notorias, los podía guiar sin ser vistos, mientras más se adentraban en mayor peligro se encontraban, aunque no lo sabían, todo estaba muy tranquilo para ser un reino tan peligroso.

Spinner sugirió que deberían regresar, y dar nuevas de que no había nada extraño, no había planes ni nada de eso, pero Assassin prefirió avanzar un poco más, sin embargo pidió a Spinner que tuviera un portal listo.

"¿Hasta donde nos puedes trasladar de regreso?" Pregunto Bowmen

Spinner indico que cerca de la entrada, él había dispuesto un lugar estratégico para salir lo más rápido posible sin ser descubiertos. En base a eso continuaron avanzando teniendo sumo cuidado de no ser descubiertos.

Mientras tanto en las recamaras de Lord of Darkness, Boogeyman se encontraba con Jarlax y el emperador del mal, Boogeyman con su habilidad ya había visto a los invasores y se encontraba a la espera de órdenes, pero para su sorpresa se le indico no hacer nada.

"¿Los dejaremos sin castigo mi Señor?” Pregunto

Lord of Darkness les dijo: “Vamos a observarlos, muchos no conocen el rostro que se oculta detrás de la máscara de Peakrider, yo si lo conozco. Peakrider es un sediento de sangre, ama las guerras más que cualquier otro, pero se oculta bajo una máscara hipócritamente"

Ante tal declaración Jarlax sonrió mientras que el dueño de los 1000 ojos se sorprendió, no sabía que decir, pero siguió usando su poder para que pudieran observar.

"Usaremos esta infiltración en su contra" dijo Lord of Darkness mientras se sonreía, luego de eso les indico que salieran y estuvieran atentos, para el no harían un ataque descabellado con solo 4 infiltrados, le pareció mas una misión de inspección, y con ello había acertado.

Luego de que salieron fueron dadas órdenes a todo el reino de que no hicieran nada, solo que se mantuvieran como si nada estuviera pasando, pero si eran atacados tenían la libertad de defenderse.

Silver Assassin se adentró por error en una recamara, pero rápidamente salió al sentir una presencia fuerte en ese lugar, una vez lo hizo indico a Spinner que creara un portal para regresar. Cuando lo hicieron se alegraron por el suceso de la misión y regresaron hasta el palacio donde Peakrider se encontraba.

Frente a él se postraron y luego procedieron a dar el reporte de la misión, cuando lo hicieron Peakrider los escucho y los despidió en paz. Aun asi, la intriga no se apartó de él, algo no estaba bien, pero nada podía hacer, solo esperar y estar alerta a cualquier movimiento de su adversario.
