I previously talked about the BRAWLS, tournaments between guilds that take place every 5 days, from which you get the MERITS tokens useful for the purchase of GLADIUS cards, usable exclusively in the tournament and only one card for each battle!

As for the other classic battles, it is possible to choose the summoner on duty and the cards, including those precisely Gladius. The selected cards are generally very limited compared to the classic battles and only Alpha and Beta cards can be included, in addition to the Gladius, so you will not be able to use cards from the UNTAMED edition or the more recent Chaos Legion.

In the battle I selected the summoner ** MALRIC HELL **, my first ever summoner that I upgraded to level 3. MALRIC HELL's ability is a +1 bonus to cards with Ranged attack, so I essentially deployed cards with this offensive characteristic.

CERBERUS

Monster really very interesting for its offensive characteristics and low mana of just 4 points. Among the most powerful cards I currently own with such low mana. Updated to level 3, CERBERUS is currently unleashing +3 basic attacks plus a +1 summoner bonus.

CHIMNEY WALLSTOP

Here is the Gladius card set up for battle, an obviously extremely powerful fire element common card. At the moment I have managed to upgrade it to level 2 and it has incredible offensive characteristics. I was very lucky to find the golden card, without the help of the potions, a truly incredible stroke of luck!

The Reach ability allows the monster to attack even from second position and with +5 damage (+1 summoner bonus), it's a really hard blow for opponents to defend against so much power. In addition, the Bloodlust ability, common to Gladius monsters, increases +1 all the card's stats to each defeated opponent!

KOBOLD MINER

Our Kobold carries out his work steadily and calmly from his last position. Having low life points, I tried to deploy him in last position, hoping that I didn't have an opponent with the same ability but attack or higher speed. As you can see from the battle, the monster attacks the last opponent's card, surrounding the enemy on all sides and unleashing incessant attacks!

FIRE BEETLE

Level 3 Alpha card, a monster that, by virtue of its low mana, attacks the enemy from a distance with +2 damage on the enemy, really not bad for a tiny monster! In addition, FIRE BEETLE hits from distance, attacks Melee, so it is necessary to deploy it far from the first position, in which it would become practically harmless

Come per le altre battaglia classiche, è possibile scegliere l'evocatore di turno e le carte, tra cui quelle appunto Gladius. Le carte selezionate sono genericamente molto limitate rispetto alle battaglie classiche e possono essere incluse solo carte Alpha e Beta, oltre alle Gladius, quindi non potrete utilizzare per intenderci carte dell'edizione UNTAMED o le più recenti Chaos Legion.

Nella battaglia ho selezionato il summoner MALRIC INFERNO, il mio primo evocatore in assoluto che ho potenziato sino a livello 3. L'abilità di MALRIC INFERNO è un bonus +1 per le carte con attacco Ranged, per cui ho schierato essenzialmente carte con questa caratteristica offensiva.

CERBERUS

Monster davvero molto interessante per le sue caratteristiche offensive e il mana basso di appena 4 punti. Tra le carte più potenti che possiedo attualmente con un mana così basso. Aggiornato al livello 3, CERBERUS sta attualmente scatenando +3 attacchi base più un bonus evocatore +1.

CHIMNEY WALLSTOP

Ecco la carta Gladius schierata per la battaglia, una carta comune dell'elemento fuoco ovviamente, estremamente potente. Al momento sono riuscito a potenziarla a livello 2 ed ha caratteristiche offensive incredibili. Sono stato molto fortunato a trovare la carta dorata, senza l'aiuto delle pozioni, un colpo di fortuna davvero incredibile!

L'abilità Reach consente al mostro di attaccare anche dalla seconda posizione e con un danno +5 (+1 bonus evocatore), è davvero un duro colpo per gli avversari difendersi da tanta potenza. Inoltre l'abilità Bloodlust, comune ai mostri Gladius, aumenta +1 tutte le statistiche della carta ad ogni avversario sconfitto!

KOBOLD MINER

Il nostro Kobold esegue il suo lavoro con costanza e tranquillita dalla sua ultima posizione. Avendo pochi punti vita, ho cercato di schierarlo in ultima posizione, con la speranza che non avessi un avversario con la stessa abilità ma attacco o velocità maggiore. Come potete notare dalla battaglia, il mostro attacca l'ultima carta avversaria, circondando il nemico da tutte le parti e sferrando attacchi in modo incessante!

FIRE BEETLE

Carta Alpha di livello 3, un mostro che in virtù del sua mana basso, attacca il nemico dalla distanza con un danno +2 sul nemico, davvero niente male per essere un mostro piccolino! Inoltre, FIRE BEETLE colpisce dalla distanza, attacca Melee, per cui è necessario schierarlo lontano dalla prima posizione, in cui diventerebbe praticamente inoffensivo

Conclusione

I contest di @splinterlands non hanno solo l'obiettivo di farci ottenere upvotes generosi ma è soprattutto quello di aiutarci a scoprire nuove carte che possono essere davvero molto utili alle nostre battaglie e stimolarci a nuove strategie e maggiori opzioni in battaglia
